We'd all be better served it both of them focused on making even one song that is in the top 100 of each of their catalogues. Nobody is gonna be listening to this s--- in a year, let alone 10.

    Per the wise Nina Turner

“The TikTok ban is bad policy. Period.

If our elected officials are concerned with data privacy, they should have passed a bill that keeps social media companies from spying on Americans.

    That would’ve been good policy.”

People are getting fed up with the government and CEOs. The people are starting to fight back…i.e. Luigi. (And the Trump shooter) Health insurance companies have slowly killed people for years and bankrupted so many people. The government sits on their a--- like nothing is wrong. People are finally getting pissed about them f---ing us over.

Meta has dumped its fact checking operations to appease Trump and his fan base. Zuckerberg is cozying up to Trump just like billionaire Musk has. Scumbags stick together. They’ll be getting permanent tax cuts while working people continue to struggle.

    ?

Just saying. People are getting fed up. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone pulled a Luigi on a politician after the TikTok ban.

Working people aren't trying to live in a world where it's normal for businessmen and politicians to get assassinated. Working people aren't trying to have a revolution, which would be a catastrophe for their kids. Working people want their wages to be worth a d--- and to live with dignity. And to live in a normal country.

This group of people you're talking about aren't working people. They are the most educated and affluent people in America.

    https://www.compactmag.com/article/how-the-left-helped-trump-win/

I'm not saying that means there's no merit to your politics or worldview. It's just not a working class revolution. And hasn't been for a long time. Which is why the working class overwhelmingly supported the Orange Man. And that may very well be against their own interests. I can't say I know either way. If this is a working class revolution it's against the will of the working class.

I'm not trying to tell you what to believe man. I just think you and everyone else (me!) could fortify their beliefs by stepping outside of their own bubbles and algorithms.

“And that may very well be against their own interests. I can't say I know either way”

It is against their own interests. Trump was in office already for 4 years and his policies hurt working class people and the rich benefited.

That’s the core of my point—-how regular working people are waking up to politicians and the rich dominating over us. Their influence and lobbying have f----- working class people over. From wages to healthcare to climate change policies. All of these hurt us. People are getting fed up with it. We’re on the same page, bro @vinny ice I ain’t looking to make enemies with fellow working class people.

@vinny ice Bernie is going to propose a bill to lower prescription drugs. If Trump was for the people and truly anti-establishment he’d support it. But he won’t. And sadly his followers, who are a lot of working class people, will continue to support him and not Bernie and his policies that help people. Trump’s working class followers think HE is for the people, but his policies aren’t. His followers are all about his confidence and vibes that make him come off like he’s for the people…which is unfortunate. But then I saw a lot of his voters support Luigi. It’s confusing. They support Trump who is a rich oligarch just like the CEO who got shot…but then agree that health insurance companies are screwing people. But they don’t support politicians who want to hold CEOs accountable.

We’ve lived in a society where it’s normal for CEOs and politicians to put healthcare policies in place that slowly k--- people and bankrupt people. What Luigi did isn’t surprising. It shouldn’t have to come to violence like that…but CEOs have put policies in place in healthcare…and drilling that hurt and slowly k--- people. Slow violence.

That's all sensible and I appreciate you taking the time to think about it and write it.

It's truly unfortunate that Bernie was squashed in 16 and 20. There was an overwhelming populist sentiment in the country in 16 and GOP was too weak to squash Trump and the Libs still held all the power post Obama strangled out the left populist movement. Trump v Bernie was the election the people actually wanted.

But it's 2025 and the world keeps spinning. I don't have a degree. I'm a working guy. I'm not ideological, I just care about what does and doesn't work. Here's some unsolicited advice that I pray your people heed. If you can't admit cancel culture is real, and you insist on promoting unpopular social issues (you know what I'm talking about), and you just want to dunk on half the country, you will never get the chance to pitch the substance of your argument again to working people. The brand is beyond toxic with us. It's over. We don't trust y'all. You are 100% right on about the appeal of Trump's vibe. People are not going to listen to a pitch, even if it's ultimately to their benefit, from people who's vibe f---ing sucks. Your mechanic doesn't want to hear it. The dudes I work with in the kitchen don't want to hear it.

I'm telling you it's non negotiable. The entire vibe needs to be burned to the ground. If it's really about the ideas, the changes will be made and the left will have a chance. If the vibe continues to be like, say our favorite punching bag, Fantano. The left is cooked bro. And I know how frustrating and illogical that might seem. But it's the hard truth. If it's the ideas that matter, gotta start listening to the people so you can speak their language and pitch it them

Feels like the Drake and Kendrick discourse been dragging forever. But if I was Drake, I would had named my next album “Bigger Stepper”. Lead single would be Midget Molestor, then I get R.Kelly a feature. And since Family matters, so can Cole, JID and Mr. Mathers. Then drop it same week as the superbowl, and I bet that s--- still will go Gold

It keeps getting dragged out by Drake and his public meltdowns. Drake would be doing much better right now if he just took the L, moved on, and dropped better music. But instead he’s doing this lawsuit and he’s gonna drop a mid, boring album with PartyNextDoor.

All these people complaining about the discourse getting dragged out have Drake to blame. MFers expect people to just stay silent about this lawsuit? Are you kidding me?
