Jun 12, 2020 lol I knew you'd say something like that. it's a forum discussion, so yeah we can all go "nobody cares what you think i got my opinion i don't need yours" but the discussion won't be very interesting I probably shouldn't have posted in this thread in the first place... sensitive topics, hard to really discuss. peace
Jun 13, 2020 I don't think that's what he means. It's more like, it doesn't matter that you don't "get" what it's like to be trans because you'll never truly "get it" just like anyone who isn't trans will never truly "get it." It's a matter of having empathy and doing some self-reflection as to why you truly care about something like this. Are you really worried about a medical classification or are you just knocking something because it's out of the norm to you and you don't understand it? It's something I never got or really thought about in any capacity til one of my friends came out as trans and I understand not everyone has that experience...but like I said, I think it's good to do some self-reflection as to why you choose to take this stance
