I agree with everything you just said, but at the time, joe just quietly removed himself from the group without letting his brothers know, leaving fans wondering where the f--- the album was. Correct me if im wrong, but he only really started speaking on it some years later did he not?

I highly HIGHLY doubt the other memebers of SH didn’t know joe was leaving. They knew .

and joe has been talking about it from pretty much the start of when the album got scrapped. Because at one point he was threatening to leak it

They should of signed to strange music instead of shady. The first tour they went on was with tech n9ne. They had it lined all up but went with shady instead

why not? How many years was crooked I in the game before he released a album? 20?
How many solo mixtapes have they all put out. It’s not out of this world to see them make a mixtape

People who are em fans get mad at Joe , but check this ...

80k slaughterhouse week 1 sales @ .50 royalty to each album sale go to the artists. Split that up 4 ways , that's 10k each, lol.. the video they shot (which comes out of their budget) costs more than their week 1 sales.

There was no money to be made. It was a sunken cost for all involved.

Let's be real. Shady is as good as it can get for Slaughterhouse. They have Em working with them both might be good creatively and will be good for reaching people. I don't think they can get more freedom than they had shady anyway. I think the fact that budden is the only one complaining says a lot. Plus I still remember his butthurt comments...

So what ? Em didn't get money at all by any SH s--- u know that right ? Nobody would be ok with that in music industry.

Btw very few actually make money over albums. If you don't tour and make concerts constantly, u cannot make money. Ask j cole lol.

You dont need a label in 2020.

SL could use the Budden podcast to promote & do stuff on Youtube.
If they were smart they would leave. But Royce is loyal to Eminem & Paul.

We know this ... It's his entire pont and I agree with it. He doesnt want to own 5% of his work and invest 100% in it, for so little. He wants to own his content and that's fair. The way he has gone about it was poor though.

No. Budden felt like it was too dark and s--- like that. So it was because of that, not Shady.

So do it independently. It's easy. They are not poor after all, they have enough money to record an album on their own. Even soundcloud rappers can do it now. Ohh, but Budden wanted the money and fame not being able to create music freely etc. Budden had some dreams about money and the fame at first but he got nothing so he threw a fit. He said really disrespectful stuff about Em and his team after Untouchable, called an album trash ( you might not like it and might say it but it's not the way to say it when the aritst is your friend) Budden made many dumb moves..

Exactly. You don't need any labels. You can easily record something freely if the music is all you care about. They are not broke or anything after all. And I don't think Em would be mad or sad if they go independent. So Royce's loyality is irrelevant. But I doubt Budden would go for it unless he gets money and fame. I don't feel like Budden is being geniune or real about Shady and Slaughterhouse related stuff entirely.

Joe Biden’s in the wrong despite the disappointment in music quality SH had on Shady. If you heard the mixtapes during that time you’d know they still could make great music. The problem was they tried to make music that would appeal to more than hip hop heads, the best songs on their debut album show what it should’ve been the whole way. Asylum, Goodbye, Our House and Place To Be get plays once in a while still
