    Why would millions of Vietnamese be celebrating his death? They got McCain.when he was an errand boy... wouldn't they be waiting for someone like Kissenger to die? I mean the Vietnamese who are left from the late 60's/early 70's that is.





    But, thanks for not even denying who you get your politics from and acknowledgIng that you know who Chapo Trap House is.

    The left in this country is very small. And no, I don't get my politics from a podcast that mainly exists to make fun of conservative journalists. Citations Needed is way better.

    Actually, I get my personality from WPG.

    And I did read the Chapo book yesterday. It was pretty funny. They're entertaining. As for "getting my politics" from them, that's like trying to form a coherent ideology watching the Joe Rogan Experience or The Daily Show or something. Again, they mostly make fun of hack journalists.

    You view people on the other side of the political spectrum as “enemies.” There’s no room for mistake to you. How many good politicians have their been in U.S. history in your opinion?

    Right but the standard you’re setting is fantasy. There’s maybe a handful political figures throughout history that could withstand this level of scruntiny & come out completely clean. Even someone like Bernie Sanders has supported things like a new fighter jet program which costs have surpassed $1 trillion dollars. Is Sanders now a war mongering war hawk that’s part of the military industrial complex?

    the "other side" is a party that has spent decades brutally, systematically, and intentionally destroying the lives of everyone except rich whites. they're actively working to keep me from having healthcare; they're licking their chops to blow more foreign countries to smithereens simply so they can hand out bigger and bigger contracts to their friends in the defense industry. most democrats are extremely bad –– all republicans are vile and should be shamed every time they appear in public. what "common ground" am i supposed to find with john mccain?

    i don't think "we shouldn't laugh at death" is something we can dismiss –– it's valid and something i think about a lot in these situations. but to be clear, the things that add up to the reasonable conclusion –– "f--- john mccain" –– are not opinions, they're very real actions.

    i dont follow politics much in the US after Trump due to me not being able to distinguish whats real and whats not anymore, but if his action isnt hitler level or 3 levels below that we shouldnt laugh at his death imo
