Jul 30, 2016 Not sure if someone has already posted about this. But Kanye went off about Apple and Tidal. I wanted to believe that Jay Z was real about his intentions with Tidal, but Kanye saying this stuff is making think otherwise. I don't think this is a good look for Kanye, and might be reason for Jay Z to be more distant from Kanye like back in the Yeezus period. Thoughts? Personally, I really annoyed with Kanye about this, but I should be really annoyed at Jay Z. Full list: http://www.hotnewhiphop.com/kanye-w...ef-is-f-ing-up-the-music-game-news.23169.html Twitter:
Jul 30, 2016 I mean if its just about exclusive stuff, I can understand finding middle ground. But if he is asking Jayz to just sell Tidal to Apple he is a huuuuge hypocrite.
Jul 30, 2016 He's thinking in the right direction, but trying to promote a monopoly for music distribution is even more toxic to the industry than pirating. I'm not going to act like I'm a genius at business & finance but it seems pretty ridiculous. Personally, I just want an easy way to get local lossless files. Until someone figures that s--- out I'll stick to downloading thank you very much.
Jul 30, 2016 nah hes prob just tired of people not being able to access music if that needs to be on one big platform so be it - DP
Jul 30, 2016 I read it as if he's someone on the inside and knows of some sort of deal going on but apple is low balling Jay. idk though
Jul 30, 2016 I feel like Apple just wants to own everybody and tell them how they want to distribute their stuff. Personally, I hate apple, and will never own an apple product. I would rather Tidal get sold to Google than Apple.
Jul 30, 2016 I mean, this is the company who knocked off like 400 million dollars on the deal for Beats, because Dr Dre was in a celebratory video with Tyrese....lol
