    She's the one who claimed that Em turned in his new album some months ago. She's constantly posting about upcoming releases. Most of her announcements turned out to be true.

    I remember her saying some s--- about ariana grande getting implemented into Fortnite for an example. She announced it a month before it actually happened.

    Still on my first listen. Was ready to stop after that horrendous intro tbh, but I pushed through. Will the clean version be the only version? 'Cause that also gets annoying real quick... either don't curse or f---ing leave it all on there.

    A few listens in now and d---.... this is such a sprawl. Its pretty messy actually. I still love the first half and there are some huge highlights throughout but an album this long is bound to have a few misfires and he definitely loses me in a few places. Its the least cohesive album in his catalog but one of the most interesting in recent memory. So much to take in, i still need to spend wayyy more time with this.

    That Jay Electronica features gotta be a strong contender for verse of the year. Loved hearing The Lox on pt. 2 as well. Disappointed they didn't do anything more memorable with the Pop Smoke... snippet? but amazing to see Fivio, Durk, Carti, etc. getting so much stage time, they all killed it. Vory in particular is sensational throughout. Jonah is a BIG early standout for me.

    Started listenin to this one. Laughed my a--- off to intro, thinking if anybody would do the same s---, it'd have been ridiculed like crazy. But it's just a intro so who cares. Jail was fine but it felt like the beat cannot drop (same with the 3rd song too lol), the ending beat was great but it should have been mixed with the original beat. This album feels a bit like Kanye finding few phrases and sentences to repeat back to back over good melodies with strange beats lol. 3 songs into the album and it feels like this is gonna be one time ride for me...

    Thankfully, those thoughts had changed after 3rd song and this one started to feel more like the Kanye I missed.

    I hate to break it to you, man. But he's never been consistently this much about one recurring theme in his life as he has been about being religiously-devout and spiritually-reformed.


    He has been on this kick for 3 years now. I'm purposely not going to let the messages he's trying to make emanate and resonate with the listening public, get put in a one-dimensional box regarding "faith/belief-based postulates" possibly existing as incumbently-fettered constituents of theistic ideologies and orthodox doctrines.

    You can have faith in yourself. You can believe in yourself.

    Extract what you can from it all. There are so many cool elements of this project that show an aspect of maturity/maturation that no one ever imagined this man would shed candid light on. However, I believe he did just that with Donda.


    My one biggest gripe is that there aren't more solo tracks. And the solo tracks are some of the best ones on here.

    alot of mistruths and warped contortions here. i hesitate to even acknowledge it but - for the children:
    fiction. if anything wpg is like my precocious granddaughter im supporting to go to prep school. i champion his successes, and love seeing him do well in life

    again, fiction. charlie was a pretentious tryhard, exact opposite of me. idk what came of him, but wish youd join him wherever he is. two lost burned out souls, trying to bait me for relevance

    ok, but now things get stickier. more personal.

    narsh made a pass at ME. im not homophobic so it wasnt a big deal. he was drunk and confused. my mistake was trusting folks here would handle it with maturity. irl narsh is a sweet young man and i wish him well. im sry i called him fat here (he is a bit thicc)

    this, sadly, is somewhat true. but i didnt know who he was legit before the pandemic, and thought his enthusisam for the forum could help revive things. i think we were somewhat successful, but ur 100% right he was unhinged and should not have been trusted. again, another regret but covid times were very boring, especially the first few months....
