Feb 3, 2015 @Narsh your whole comment is basically dickriding Kanye and talking about Eminem even if i didn't bring him to the conversation. I don't even see this s--- in KTT.
Feb 3, 2015 I've listened to both projects many times, even revisited them after reading reviews from you, Swizz and WPG and I still disagree *shrug* I just feel like as Kanye gets further into his career he pushes more towards making music that's different rather than just making good music in general. And I know that's not necessarily a bad thing, nor has it resulted in a sudden up rise of bad music from Kanye, I mean we've seen the benefits of Kanye experimenting with songs like Heartless, Runaway, BOTL etc. but I feel like it also has it negatives which were kind of evident on Yeezus (or at least for me). I thought Kanye was great earlier in his career because he was soulful, honest, relatable, his production had a huge jazz influence which a I loved and that's something you see Kanye rarely try to recreate now. Yeah he's given us a couple of glimpses with tracks like White Dress or even Bound 2 to an extent but Kanye to me right now is like a great athlete not playing to his strengths. He's still good but he could be a lot better.
Feb 3, 2015 This. Kanye is a f---ing dope artist but he can't rap. He can learn from Dre on that aspect
Feb 3, 2015 Enigma actually makes good points, while I don't agree I can see why he feels that way. But Fried saying Kanye straight up can't rap is idiotic
Feb 3, 2015 Dre can't rap but he can flow correctly. Like Kanye. And he is a dope producer. Like Kanye. Kanye should do like Dre: Produce for dope rappers and maybe make some features rapping with a ghostwritted verse.
Feb 3, 2015 Yea he should give up on making critically acclaimed rap albums cause some 15 year old doesn't like his raps, and be more like Dr. Dre's irrelevant a---. There's more kids these days that think Dr. Dre invented headphones than kids actually knowing he's a producer
Feb 3, 2015 Couldn't have said it any better, I've been feeling the same way about his recent output. I appreciate he continues to push boundaries and explore new ways of fusing hip-hop but it doesn't have the same soul & essence that has always captivated me. Not the biggest fan of Yeezus but I can fully comprehend why a lot more people enjoy it.
Feb 3, 2015 So you're saying Kanye should do exactly what he's doing right now? which is produce for "dope" rappers and have a ghostwritten verse? (not 100% if that kanye verse is ghostwritten but who f---ing cares it's good)
Feb 3, 2015 "kanye needs his verses ghostwritted" - @Fried click this link, then look at the writers for every song. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yeezus
Feb 3, 2015 Because he didn't understand my point and started to attack me with personals like the cringeworthy Kanye Stan he is Kanye can't rap and i don't understand why the people doesn't want to face it. He is putting in your ears horrible bars and they are like "I dgaf the music is good" which for me is ok but other thing is calling the s--- GOAT. Please you are not going to believe that he needed 10 writters to finish "On Sight" just because Wikipedia said it
Feb 3, 2015 Wtf lol how? I broke it down pretty clearly Are you really gonna say Eminem's discog is better than Kanye's? Even if you don't like Yeezus or 808s there's tcd, lr, graduation and mbdtf. Eminem has encore and relapse right off the bat - easily worse than Yeezus and 808s. Recovery and mmlp2 aren't too special either
Feb 3, 2015 The only cringe-worthy thing here is your posts. please, you're not going to deny the credits on the actual Yeezus album are you? Stupid f---.
Feb 3, 2015 You don't understand my point, Kanye is a bad rapper since he started. Maybe in Graduation he talked about more relatable subject matters and didn't have any kind of special cringeworthy bar but is the same thing. The flow is annoying, and the writting is really meh, specially compared to the average rapper of 2005 Not going to say that Eminem's discog is better than Kanye's but Eminem is definitely a better rapper and i rather hear most of his albums than Kanye's Discog (with the exception of Encore). Still, i don't understand why you bring Eminem to the conversation. I can't believe that you are so stupid to believe that
