Jan 20, 2020 Kanye is just doing him. Hes not in the bubble a lot of people are.. just cause hes black does not mean he has to think a certain way. God bless him. And there is nothing Anti gay about this.. These people believe homosexuality is something that can be cured.. they have the right.. and honestly the evidence of u open your mind and do some research. Regardless it's not about hate and it's not even what this event is about.
Jan 20, 2020 Kanye is many things but homophobic is not one of them. I’m sure he just didn’t research the people he was getting into bed with here
Jan 20, 2020 No nothing about this festival, but where’s at outrage for acts on the Coachella lineup? Same kinda assholes run that feat, no?
Jan 20, 2020 I respect that, but this liberal point of view is the product of a certain philosophy (the works of montesquieu, locke & John stuart mill with the "harm principle") that full religions cannot totally agree with since they are political, they have a certain view of what's a good life and what isn't, and can't just convert to the cultural relativism you seem to advocate for (like most people from the US and the EU today)...
Jan 20, 2020 I didn’t see this until now, but congratulations to Kayne. Some people really underestimate spiritual energy. All them together praying at the same time would be so refreshing for your mind and good for your soul. That’s really cool by Kayne. Idc personally if someone is anti gay or pro gay, but being gay isn’t normal, in all seriousness. Over 90% of gay people were just outcast as kids and never had a gf or ever got to f---. They went into a depression over it and realized it’s a lot easier to hook up with someone close by online that’s also gay and desperate to find some kind of partner. The trump admin needs to make some law that you can’t celebrate gay pride parades or being gay in general. It makes our country look too and laughable weak to other countries.
Jan 20, 2020 So he isn't technically a nazi. He is a proponent of violent solutions, which are not in line with his religion. So the guy is just dumb then.
Jan 20, 2020 That’s exactly what nazis are in combination with the fact that they want to take rights away from communities like lgbtq. And the fact that they re using religion to say it when no acts of hate or violence has absolutely nothing to do with relegion.
Jan 20, 2020 Nah, not really. The world is more complex than that and making this so black and white is disingenuine.
Jan 20, 2020 No, I'm not advocating for cultural relativism. The LGBTQ people and Christians can oppose each other's POV with protests and stuff. Can boycott each other (financially) and advocate against each other as well. But the government should stay out of it and shouldn't bend their laws in favour of any group. The only time gov should get involved is in case of any incident that involves harm to life/liberty/property.
Jan 20, 2020 Still that doesn't make you a nazi lol. Just anti-gay and homicidal. In some muslim countries there is a death penalty for being gay so going by your logic and simplified worldview they are "nazis". I swear this buzzword is thrown around so much it lost meaning.
Jan 20, 2020 I really wanna know your definition of nazism some day.. unless you mean it just as political view and not all the racism and hate that comes behind
Jan 20, 2020 By your logic muslims in those countries: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capital_punishment_for_homosexuality are nazis. It's pretty ironic that pre-war USA was way more racist than Nazi Germany. "The next day—August 3, 1936—Owens won his first gold medal in the 100-meter dash. Hitler did not meet or shake hands with Owens. That said, there are several reports of a salute or wave. According to sports reporter and author Paul Gallico, writing from Berlin, Owens was “led below the honor box, where he smiled and bowed, and Herr Hitler gave him a friendly little Nazi salute, the sitting down one with the arm bent.” Owens himself later confirmed this, claiming that they exchanged congratulatory waves. So, Owens was not personally snubbed by Hitler. However, Owens did feel that he had been snubbed by someone: U.S. Pres. Franklin D. Roosevelt. A month after the Olympic Games, Owens told a crowd, “Hitler didn’t snub me—it was [Roosevelt] who snubbed me. The president didn’t even send me a telegram.” Roosevelt never publicly acknowledged Owens’s triumphs—or the triumphs of any of the 18 African Americans who competed at the Berlin Olympics. Only white Olympians were invited to the White House in 1936. A number of explanations have been offered for the president’s actions. Most likely, Roosevelt did not want to risk losing the support of Southern Democrats by appearing overly soft on the race issue. The black Olympians who competed in Berlin were not recognized by the White House until 2016, when Pres. Barack Obama invited the athletes’ relatives to an event in celebration of their lives and accomplishments." Jan 20, 2020 Use words accordingly and not like "everything I don't agree with is nazism". It's my whole point and I don't see reason to prolong this discussion.
