Jan 25, 2015 For some reason I don't have an opinion on this song yet. edit: the kanye version is gonna be way better bet
Jan 25, 2015 This. I mean it's cool that they work together but I actually want to hear Paul on one of those tracks as well, especially this one. As for the song, it's catchy as f---, and I like it, but I expected a lot more from these 3. So if this is gonna be on Kanye's album as well, is there going to be a 'Kanye' version as well, like Jay and Beyonce did with Hollywood?
Jan 25, 2015 imo this sounds more like an session demo song than s--- that is for radio, but i wouldn't mind if this get radio plays because >>>>>>>> edm is this 2015 kanye on some americana s---. are we going to see more ralph flannels and levis jackets than before and are going to get more acoustic pop songs, which would be really cool imo. ye didn't f--- with auotune n this one
Jan 25, 2015 Very disapointing this is on the album. Kanye is barely on it unless its a different version on his album. Rihanna doesn't sound good on it either.
Jan 25, 2015 That lullaby 'Only One' was unbearable.. couldn't even get through it. This is slightly more tolerable, either way.. Kanye/McCartney needs to stop.
Jan 25, 2015 Holy f--- you're stupid Too bad, it's confirmed you have to deal with a whole album of it now
Jan 25, 2015 Kanye's USP is his creativity, Only One is the least creative record he's ever made. He kicked off 2015 by taking us back to 2008 but in rodeo style this time, it's auto-tune over a simplistic melody. Kanye Stans love it because of how 'personal' (if you care) the lyrics are.
Jan 25, 2015 I don't like this elitist direction Kanye is going in, collaborating with McCartney doesn't make it high art.
Jan 25, 2015 it's no wonder sir paul refuses to sing on these garbage overproduced pop tracks dude invented heavy metal i can't even imagine the check he musta got for this
Jan 25, 2015 I have been trying to figure out what's going on in this post for 10 minutes straight and still I have no idea. How do you know that paul refused to sing on this track? He handled the production. Don't forget he's 71 years old man, so don't expect him to do millions things at the same time.
Jan 25, 2015 ^He's referring to Helter Skelter (because he knows basic s--- about the beatles, and this makes him smarter than everyone else) which is definitely the song that best defines Macca's creative output. You can clearly see his heavy metal roots in Silly Love Songs and Ebony and Ivory.
Jan 25, 2015 Invented is so far a stretch it could only come from someone as dumb as csw, but the Beatles (and some of McCartney's guitar and songwriting stuff in particular) could be viewed as early influences on heavy metal. So what csw said is nonsense, but more grounded in reality than his desperate attempts to defend Eminem
