    (AllHipHop News) The To p---- A Butterfly track “Alright” became part of the soundtrack to the Black Lives Matter movement.

    Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy-winning single also inspired a college scholarship.

    “Alright” has now crossed the 1 million units mark as well.

    The RIAA awarded the song with a platinum certification this month.



    Previously, To p---- A Butterfly reached platinum status in 2016.

    Kendricks debut major label album good kid, m.A.A.d city also went platinum in 2013.

    They said it was his first platinum single but thats wrong (swimming pools for example)

    some labels just don't pay for the RIAA certifications
