    The last few times that rock acts have done the SB, they’ve been fine but the fact is that MOST of them aren’t in their prime. Like I love the Who, but I think most would agree that they really weren’t at the top of their game in 2010. Even though Rock is still super popular, 98% of the famous bands rn were founded from the 60s-early 2000s so aside from like Imagine Dragons there really aren’t too many 2010s-onward mainstream rock acts that a Modern Super Bowl would use.

    It makes sense to have Rap and R&B because they’re the most popular genres rn. Honestly i feel like pop is kinda unrepresented honestly, although I really can’t think that they’d ever do an Olivia or Sabrina show until they’ve become more established. Maybe Dua Lipa though

    Truth be told when compared to a lot of other halftime shows this one would probably be mid. I still liked it but it could’ve been a lot better. I think people saying it’s the worst and people saying it’s the best are both completely wrong

    My preference kinda swithed during the beef. Based on the events.

    When Kendrick didn't respond to Drake and he was taunting (drop drop drop) him I found that very funny. Especially because it got Kendrick fans so mad lol.

    Then Kendrick dropped a so/so diss song with 616 in LA (which later became like my favorite track) and Drake bodied him again with FM.

    But then the most genius move happened: Kendrick gave FM no time to truly shine so people forgot it within an hour. Only to finish it off with a song that would become the biggest rap song of the year! I don't think the Heart 6 was that bad but only idiots think it helped Drake.

    Checking every morning for a few weeks if the other had responded, enjoying 2 artists music you don't care that much for.. it had been a long time since rap was so enjoyable to me.
