    Kendrick is the rose that grew from concrete. Prove me wrong MFers. I dare you. He's using his influence for good. Sure...he could've dropped an album full of "Pyrex" style songs, but he chose to inspire and entice love within people rather than ignorance and egotism.

    i don't understand how people cannot like this album. this is the most powerful s--- i've ever listened to. i just finished reading the souls of black folk by w.e.b. dubois and it resonates so much with this album. kendrick just dropped one of the most important social commentaries and possibly one of the greatest hip hop albums in general. s---, no. this is one of the greatest albums across all genres. i salute kendrick for the pure thought and absolutely mastery of the craft that went into creating this album.

    Btw remember u said momma would be the best hip hop song about a mom ever? Honestly I love the album but it's not as good as tupacs or Kanyes. And it isn't even about his mom which is weird. It's about going home

    Was having a conversation with my mum today and she was talking about how rich, soulful and full of love african culture is, and it immediately made me think of this album,
    Maybe i should get her onto some k dot

    well i said it before i got the album...so it was a guess...turned out its still a classic hip hop song


    btw who else think snoop little hook is one of t he best things in recent memory ?

    i feel like rifts between fanbases & maybe even the artists themselves (ye, kdot, drake) are getting bigger,
    because its all getting more competitive, ppl feeling threatened

    On these walls third verse he's talking about the guy who killed his homie on gkmc and then how he's a "dumb criminal" and got caught the same night he shot kdots friend. Then he's talking about a girl he's sleeping with because her baby dady is in prison for life. Is kendrick saying that he is sleeping with his friends killers girl for revenge??? Sounds pretty messed up. And even if he is saying that there's no way he actually did that. I'm realizing he makes up a lot of this album.
