i like it but will be shocked if you do.

yeah i was hesitant to say u might like some of it last night lol...i still you think you'll like parts here and there. maybe a track.

idk..this feels a lot more experimental and less constrained than TPAB but it still int he same creative space..

@kendricksxn question: do u count this as an official album
or just a project he released

find that the differentiation is basically meaningless in the digital age- drake's "mixtape" was one of the most popular albums of last year etc - but thats semantics to an extent.. full stop, that talking point aside
so: section 80, gkmc, tpab.... untitled?

the grateful dead released random s--- all the time -so much live stuff plus bootlegs all over the place (but live albums are obviously diff from studio albums)

its a fine but important point -- are these differentiations purely commercial? or is it a critical question:

is this an official studio album, official solo release on the same plane as gkmc
is this his formal followup to tpab

it is the follow-up to tpab in that it is the next thing he dropped after tpab
but dunno the answer. i also go back and forth on counting WTT in jay and ye's discography too

Kendrick is going to go in a new direction for his 4th album, so if people hated TPAB, they will be happy knowing they won't be hearing the same thing again. However, this is basically TPAB: The Re-Up, so if you hated TPAB, chances are your going to hate this too, maybe even more.
