To p---- a Butterfly is probably one of the best conceptual albums i heard in a long time, and it has great music pieces all over the album like WT and Institutionalized ... i feel the ridiculous praise it received made the casual fans flip on it, its very hard to resist not to

i usually flip on it every now and then just outta pure hatred when i see how much praise it gets..then i re-listen..and realize its actually a great CD

now, i must ask the fans of Kenny who adore this CD, to please calm down...calling this the best CD of all time is laughable..calling this the best CD of the decade is laughable....pls help the CD by being humble

Fans are upset.

They were under the assumption that Kendrick Lamar would have a new album releasing on the 7th of April.
Lyrics on the part 4 of The Heart, Ya'll got til April 7th to get your s--- together, made this abundantly clear.
April 7th is here and there is no release. Fans are currently unleashing anger and despair upon Kendrick and TOP.

The album is known to be themed around the concept of God and religion.

April 7th is known as the day Jesus was crucified.

It is April 7th and Kendrick Lamar is being crucified by the fans.

This is a genius promotion move that adds a layer of sacrificial ritualism that will cause this album to reach new heights.
Kendrick will outsell himself and the crucifixion will be regretted by fans everywhere, just as Jesus experienced.

Kendrick is our savior. Repent for what you have done.

If you’ve been on twitter then you’ve probably heard this already.

In short, Ken talks a lot about death and how “no one is praying” for him and how “what happens on earth stays on earth”. What’s funny about this is the fact that this came out on Good Friday (the day Jesus died). Perhaps on Easter Sunday King Kendrick will resurrect with the anthesis of d---. —NATION.

Honestly, I like d---., but if Kendrick did this, he would really be the GOAT. He said he would “put the whole industry on an icepack” and this double album would definitely do it.

and this is why i think TDE is by far the worse label to ever exist, up and coming soundcloud artist have better chances making it solo than joining them

lets see, d--- is out...ppl are literally cuming of how good it is, then this second album theory comes out, now any sane person would go "no people there is no second album" so then all fans would go "aww shucks at least we have this masterpiece !!!" .. but ofc TDE will wait for people to be so excited and not say a word and then crush all their dreams and leaving the d--- release with an unnecessary sadness
