    Artists often announce their retirement right around album drop. Not sure if it's for promo or if it's because they got burnt out working on it. But it's definitely not a coincidence.

    It's like when you just finished working on a big project you put a lot of heart and effort into and you're like "man, i'm not doing this again" but then 6 months later you get the motivation again.

    Same reason a lot of fighters announce their retirement in the ring when they're emotional and have just gone through a long training camp but end up coming back.

    I'll believe an actual retirement when the artist announces it a few years after their last project. Not right at album drop lol.

    Never understood what people see in that album. It's not like straight up terrible or anything but nothing about it kept my attention either. I've tried revisiting it but could never get into it

    Big cudi fan and didn’t dislike this on first listen but also not rushing back to listen to it like I am with the Gibbs album

    Felt meh to me. Just like MOTM3.

    Saw it flopped, it kinda felt like just a soundtrack for his movie so I guess people cared less. He sold like 3K less than Game.

    New Mode is another great record
    Ignite the Love too

    really good album overall
    grown on me alot

    Same, very solid record. Also livin my truth is some AKNC / MOTM I Cudi.

    Only a couple songs I'm not really crazy about and they're not even bad

    Really think this should have been MOTM 3
    Just a great album. So may great songs that have grown on me that I didnt mention at first

    Livin My Truth,My Drug,Angel,Willing To Trust,New Mode,In Love,Ignite The Love & Burrow

    My only issue I wish Livin My Truth & My Drug were longer. Kanye could have been a great feature on those
