Dec 5, 2015 I trust an armed civilian 100000x more than I trust a cop with a gun. If anyone needs their shooting privileges revoked it's police
Dec 5, 2015 Pretty good, actually. The attacker was still taken down, and he was captured alive which is a good thing because you can't question a corpse. And recent events in the US have made it abundantly clear that every cop carrying a gun is not a good thing
Dec 5, 2015 We've thwarted many serious attempts since 7/7. London will always be a major target for terrorists but I trust our security to protect us.
Dec 5, 2015 Very good. How it should be. It suits us. Not saying it would work in other countries though...
Dec 5, 2015 Stay safe to everyone in the UK and the rest of Europe too. Just remember it's one random knife attack, don't let yourself get too scared to go about your daily life. Agree, Australia needs it. We have gun control laws, but they f----- up by allowing every police officer to carry. I've always figured they only really need batons/tasers and then just call in the swat/riot team (whatever you call it) if there are shooters. (this is pretty much what happens anyway)
Dec 7, 2015 #YouAintNoMuslimBruv Respect to the police officers as well, showing they didn't need guns, They dealt with it perfectly. Obviously if there were one or two more slashing people then thats a different story. Police in the UK don't need guns because we are sensible enough to make them illegal to civilians and they are hardly seen or used by criminals...i understand why the usa cops need them though. There is always some maniac running around shooting people. edit: I also agree with UK air strikes in syria
Dec 7, 2015 On a side note, this s--- is getting out of control. Will continue escalating more and more it seems. I think next year is going to reach a high note.
Dec 7, 2015 From what i see from the media it seems like your cops go for their guns too quickly...its like the power goes straight to their head. Every police officer I've met when I've been to the states has been a rude c----.
Dec 7, 2015 in Canada not many people carry guns at all, so it means the police have the upper hand in most situations. Police and their guns in holsters are intimidating and that's the general atmosphere of encounters here but in the US it seems like everyone has guns, so the police are definitely ready to be shot at
