    Most times it doesn't work, RDJ has been making trash since then, just like Evans except for Knives Out. Even Holland who's younger can't make a good movie outside of Spider-Man to save his life.

    MCU still better than the DC mess though

    Watched Parasite yesterday. A little overrated but good movie. 7/10.

    And just finished watching a war movie called 1917. 7.5/10.

    I still need to watch Parasite. I saw 1917 in theaters and while it was a simple story it was directed really well with most of it being one shot.

    The Outfit - 6.9/10

    Top Gun: Maverick - 8.2/10. Never seen the first one. Wasn't expecting much. Pleasantly surprised.

    The whole mission scenes when they enter the enemy territory. Amazin. Reminds me a bit of Rush (2013) another great movie.

    I haven't seen the sequel but I finally watched the original Top Gun about a month back. Genuinely one of the worst movies I've ever seen. It's boring, unintentionally homoerotic military propaganda sandwiched between two kinda cool airplane scenes.

    1/10. Just devoid of anything even remotely engrossing or interesting. The only other big budget movie I can think of off the top of my head that was this bad was the third Hobbit movie.

    Daniel Craig surprisingly good in comedy. Nailed the role.

    Apparently everyone I've seen who's seen early screenings say they love the sequel, changes in tone for reviews happen a lot when a movie releases to not get blackballed by companies for future screenings but I'm keeping my hopes up for this one.
