She lets out some very annoying noises every time she tries to do something. My ears almost exploded and I saw only about 1/4 of the movie.

Serious question @Radeem @Devil White etc.

Do you guys have any more recommendations of movies similar to silver lining? Not so much the story itself, but movies that feel real. Not some hollywood cliché bs - I do like cheese romantic comedies if they are actually funny, like change up for example- but most of them all have the same formula and with big celebrities playing the characters so over thw top if seems all so fake... if you guys know what I mean.

Other examples of 'similar' movies I absolutely love

    - The Spectatular Now
    - Its Kind Of A Funny Story
    - Ruby Sparks
    - Adventureland
    - The Way Way Back

If you didn't check (some of) these out, if you are into these, these are great imo.

    @Twan as the specialist btw

Never let me go is amazing. Didn't see the other 3, gonna check them out. Got a bunch waiting on my usb to watch too lol. Honestly, when I'm in the right mood or with friends I watch 'big' horror/comedy/drama movies but mostly I try to avoid the big mainstream ones.. the less famous ones leave a bigger impression on me tbh. Same goes for thriller or horror movies. I watched 'Side Effects' when @WPG recommended it to me and was really, really good.

Checked those 3 storylines out (no trailer I always try to avoid them), and I'm sure I'm gonna love those already

I like Silver Linings Playbook, but I'm not quite as high on it as you are. Based on your examples though, some that come to mind are...

    Short Term 12
    The Descendants
    Mistress America
Perks of Being a Wallflower (While I'm not a fan, I think you might like it more)
Punch Drunk Love (This one doesn't quite fit in with the rest, but I think it's a classic and you may like it)

c'mon The Witch is one of the best horror films of 2015

but anyway last film I saw was..

A Noir that really brings out those elements. Not intentionally though, but by accident because of Barry Sullivan's character and his delusions. Margalo Gillmore makes a great Femme Fatale..but again; by accident..it's not her fault. A nice little film that doesn't have a real long run time, and the majority of the film takes place in one location..which is simple, yet effective.. I definitely enjoyed this one.. 7.8/10

Thanks man. I have seen Short Term 12 and that movie was really good imo. Did you like it? Haven't seen the others, but Perks is on my USB already (its the one with Emma Watson right?)

    Red State

Not sure how I feel about this. It had pretty good reviews, and the plot seemed interesting (altough it didn't reveal anything about the actual story).

Started off okay, but then it went weird. Not gonna spoil anything, but every choice made was s-----y imo. If someone wants to know why, mention me. But to be honest, I think this movie sucks. 5/10

    Whole 4 Open Season animations.
They're kinda dope but it pisses me off that the voice actors changed so much.
