    Breakdown (1997)

One thing I missed was looking at the motives/exploring the 'bad guys' a little more. Other than that, great movie. There was enough tension, all characters played their role great and the ending was -altough predictable-, satisfying. 8/10

    Entourage

To conclude: it just felt like an extended episode of the tv show. It never felt like an actual movie. That said I liked the show and I also liked this movie. I love how they showed their lifestyle and the beautiful pictures of LA/Ibiza etc. But the thing I loved most were the random, hilarious short appearances of people like T.I., Kelsey Grammar, Ed O'Neil etc. Decent movie, but enjoyed it a lot. 7.5/10

    Office Space (1999)

I expected a whole different movie. I guess I thought it would have been a '99 version of 'Horrible Bosses' where they would just create chaos at the office. Its totally different, but I did like it. It has strange humour, but I love the story and characters. And of course Jennifer >

    7.5/10

    Failure To Launch

Seen it a few years ago and because I remembered kind of liking it, watched it again. I don't get why I liked it tbh. It's full of cheesy, corny one-liners and the end literally makes me cringe. A lot of these movies are watchable because they are funny, but the leading characters are terrible and I didn't laugh about them. Matthew is bad, Sarah Jessica Parker is even worse, totally overplaying it. Such an annoying character. There was one major highlight about this movie: Zooey Deschanel. She's fantastic. Because of her I'm giving it a 5.5/10.

    Nina Forever (2015)

I honestly don't know what to say. The subject and the message of the movie are absolutely fantastic. But how I feel about the characters having sex with a zombie/dead body? I don't know. I like the twist near the end and like I said I think the overal story and meaning are great, but I didn't really enjoy watching the movie for the most part. 6.5/10

    The Thing (2011)

It's a shame, but I have never seen the original movie. When I saw that this took place before it I decided to watch this one first. Really liked it. If the 'sequel' is as good as people make it out to be, I'm excited to watch it. 8/10

the movie in my avi (Brick)

plays on old film noir and detective genre tropes and flips them into a high school environment in a truly interesting and meaningful way

I just watched Moonlight. Really, really enjoyed it. Something's bugging me though.
That image at the end of film where he's a little boy by the sea... What's it supposed to symbolise? It kinda looked like the moonlight was glowing on him. Why is the film even called Moonlight?

    guys, just watched HOLES (2003)
Reminiscing about my middle-school days, where for an English Literature assignment we had to read the book (same title) by Louis Sachar.
This disney movie is childish but nostalgia played an important part, as we watched it in class as well to compare it with the novel.
Looking at it now, its remarkable to notice the great cast they had for such a 'low profile' Disney Movie...
    • Sigourney Weaver
    • Shia LaBeouf
    • Jon Voight
    • Henry Winkler
    among others...

For me I give it a solid 7/10 for nostalgia reasons, also the book storyline is well-depicted for a big screen performace, simply amazing and lighthearted.
