Logan is super lit.
Dark, deep, fun, sad and gives hope and chills
easily best Xmen franchise movie.
gotta be a top 5 super hero movie (with Dark Knight, and the Watchmen)

just watched Dear Zachary for the first time without reading anything about it other than it was a "true crime documentary" but holy f---ing s---
i've never had that reaction to a movie before. so f----- up. about 5 minutes into the movie it has a giant shift in settings and it turns out that the whole thing happened where I live, and a lot of the people that were interviewed or mentioned or shown are people i see all the time in the street or on the news. f---ing insane to get smacked with that documentary and knowing it happened just minutes from where i'm sitting rn after walking into it not knowing what it was

f--- Power Rangers, we need a Voltron film... anyway..



I caught this on The Noir Alley broadcast on Turner Classic Movies, and fell in love with it immediately. Of course anything related to Noir, I'm going to love it..but this drew me in. It's a typical Noir though, devious, cheating Femme Fatale (which is played brilliantly may I add, by the amazing Audrey Totter) and the evolving plot of murder and Deceit. I came to find out, that I had the dvd unopened on my shelf..smh I guess this is telling me I have too many films, but anyway I loved it..glad I own this.. 8.3/10

The Founder

Superb Keaton performance as usual, based around the guy who took Mcdonalds and made it the biggest food franchise on the planet.

SPLIT

Not a McAvoy fan at all and this left me wondering what all the hype was about, kind of one of those movies where almost all of the best parts are crammed into the trailer but still a fun watch, I just feel they could have gone further, for somebody who has so many personalities you really don't get to see a whole lot that way.

The whole twist ending was completely forced too and just feels like M Night Shyamalan just didn't have time to complete the ending, I love Signs, Sixth Sense and even The Happening but this left a sour taste.

I did feel however that McAvoy brought a solid performance.
