    I wasn't either honestly. It lacked the breaking bad feeling weirdly. I don't think Jessie on his own works.

    Fair enough. It was good to tie up Jessie's story imo but I totally see the appeal of things being left open for interpretation.

    Eucht. I watched two incredibly terrible horror movies. Come to daddy with Elijah wood just had no suspense whatsoever. The rental, Dave Franco's directional debut, was a bit intriguing in the first half, second half was just a horrible smasher flick. Yeah I said smasher, not slasher, because this dude smashed the victims heads with a hammer.
    The ending was okay, only because the lost dog comes back and scampers away, as I hoped for. But yeah stay away from these movies unless you're having trouble sleeping because they're both f---in snooze fests.

    In other news, here's some alright ones to scope:

    I liked that one so much I bought it
    Here's another slept on gem

    Total Recall - surprisingly my first watch all the way through. I knew the iconic parts from like South Park, but it was wild to see early, classic Arnold in a sci-fi satire like this. Really dug the pre-cgi special effects too. Pretty witty throughout, with the vibe of a live action video game. Can't see them making movies like this these days, despite their lame remake attempt a few yrs back..
