Aug 5, 2015 I never understood the insincerity angle. He was making the same music as a nobody in 07. Nobody could have predicted a rap song about gay rights popping off the way it did. People hate him because he's a white pop rapper with a buzz. Easy target.

Aug 5, 2015 I was a fan of Macklemore Ryan Lewis prior to the Heist b. I can't speak on why every body has an issue with Macklemore, but only myself as a former fan. This is dope to me. The Ryan Lewis remix is even better. I have nothing against gay people, but Same Love is whack to me. Sure, the content doesn't have me coming back to give it another spin, but the fact that there's nothing genuine about the song doesn't help either.
