thing is i cant relate to those things either

the 3 grandparents ive known since birth (kanye was talking about his grandma too i think), and my parents, are all alive, and im obviously not a father. since when does music need to be relatable to elicit an emotional response?

Just hearing Kanye sing from the point of view of his mother, assuring him that she can see more than he can from her spot in the heavens, and that everything will be alright in the long run, just touched me idk man

I can at least imagine how i would feel if my mom had passed away, no? Or if my future daughter wouldn't get to know her grandmother? etc

not mention i just think its very well written, and has a beautiful outro
