Aug 20, 2020 Some time has passed and I'm already nostalgic about MMLP2. I listen to it a lot nowadays. Not a bad CD, I guess, in hindsight.
Aug 20, 2020 I always liked Relapse. The lyrics on that album seem gibberish at first but when you analise the interviews in which he talks about his addiction period, you can see that he transformed his experience in quite a creative way: binge-watching movies about serial killers, constnant hunger induced by drugs (in the album presented as cannibalism), and so on. I think the album is quite consistent in its morbid depiction of addiction and the way it destorts your mind. I guess, it is better when English is your second language. Then, you don't mind the accents actually.
Aug 20, 2020 I still don't mind that sausage line. I think it's a very good song with a terribly generic and boring chorus.
Aug 20, 2020 Revival for me easily altough I havent listened to a full em album in years just songs off them
Aug 20, 2020 This is the last album I've heard from him that actually sounds like an eminem project. It's not perfect but it feels like 100% the eminem I loved growing up. Everything after feels like hes trying too hard
Aug 20, 2020 revisiting revival is weird, i dont remember hardly any of these songs and they are all bad. encore is terrible but at least i remember those songs. revival is just an empty void of trash
Aug 21, 2020 Same yo foreal. It's probably because it doesn't sound a bit like the first MMLP. I felt MMLP2 vibes on Lucky You tho. It's still a great album delivery wise. But not my fav
