    Yeah, on smartphone it doesn’t work. Works for me on my laptop

    I dunno man, I think it's just something that happened as I grew older. My parents are pretty bad hoarders. To the extent that I'm only comfortable taking my 4 year old son to theirs when it's sunny so he can play on the garden rather than indoors where it's dangerous because of the amount of s--- everywhere. I swore I would never get like that so I gave myself a very strict 18 month policy. If I haven't used something in 18 mo the then it goes in the trash. That could be anything, clothes, physical items etc.

    The only thing I won't get rid of is small memorabilia from holidays. I buy a pack of playing cards from every country/city I've been to. But that doesn't exactly take up a lot of to like 500+ CDs and DVDs did!

    Definitely collected tons of CDs over the years. But CDs and the record store are pretty much dead so I don’t collect as much as I used to. Own a few signed albums as well. My favorite ones being Illmatic signed by Nas and most of my g--- Starr albums signed by Premo.

    September 4th marked 10 years since Fat Beats NY closed down. I was there that day, it was a send off and a half. It’s where I got my g--- Starr stuff signed. Once Fat Beats closed down (as well as my local spots Coconuts and The Wiz closed down), it was pretty much the end. Other Music was another decent spot in the East Village. Tower Records Lincoln Center, J&R near the WTC. One by one they all started closing down. The last stand was FYE in Ridgewood, Queens. That was the last store that had the classic record store feel (that was also the same FYE where Big Sean got hit by a fan). That FYE closed down in early 2019 I believe. Rough Trade in Brooklyn is cool but it’s way too far and it’s really more of a hipster vinyl hangout spot than a record store.

    That's cool man. I only ever got one CD signed, which I didn't sell. Invasion pt2 (of possibly pt3, can't remember now) signed by Green Lantern.

    OK, this is helpful. I have a decent vinyl collection from over the years that I've been meaning to catalog. (CDs are a bridge too far... pretty much random burned stuff, @WPG loosies on the floor of my car.) Anyway, I'll update this again when I have more time... here's some albums I have. Random selection from several boxes:

    -Red Simpson, I'm a Truck
    - Rolling Stones, Sucking in the Seventies

    ....then like, Abbey Road/Sgt Pepper

    Good idea to log em all here. I’m pushing 100 atm and have them all written down in a notebook alphabetically but it’s all chicken scratch from adding s--- all the time

    There’s some missed on this Neptune’s album but some real hits too. Jada just said “my guns the size of grandfather clocks, winchesters, Thompson’s, bushwackers”. Kiss is ready for ww1 jfc
