    I like Rocky and what he represents to the rap community as a whole. Someone who's considered more "street" but is possibly the most fashionable man in rap. Sure, we've had Kanye for years, but he's always been viewed as a bit of a weirdo and was too different to have an effect on your average rappers clothing, but Rocky was the first "normal" guy to come out and do it. I feel like that's gonna be big later on down the road influencing the way rap artists dress 5, 10 years from now.

    But on to his music, I think it's dope. Many people dismiss him as a ripoff of the southern sound coined by Houston and Memphis, but if you listen to it you can tell a difference. His producers, Clams Casino in particular, add a tinge of ethereal cloud rap production to his southern sound, creating new and interesting beats that let his charisma and charm ooze onto the track. Rocky may not be an excellent lyricist, but he's just plain fun to listen to. At his core, rocky is the perfect example of what is great about modern rap. He's a young kid from new York but doesn't act like a hood rat and instead opts to be one of the most fashionable men in America. He doesn't even have a new york influence in his music, instead re-engineering sounds and styles from across the country. And he doesn't always bring bars, but what he lacks in lyricism he more than makes up for it in excellent, charismatic delivery. To me, that sound like the best of what modern rap has to offer.

    This s--- is tragic. Y'all saying Ferg is better than ASAP?! The f---? Even the 'hood pope' himself would call that blasphemy.

    1- ASAP excels at flow, content, rhyming, style/personality and beats. One of his best songs was mentioned, Brand New Guy. Some more are Goldie, PMW, LVL, Leaf, and Peso
    2- His short comings are he can seem kind of lazy at times. Like his time off this past year and not releasing much content.
    3- His best song imo is Angels.

    4- Honestly think he can/is one of the top rappers in the game. The only thing that concerns me about him is his beat selection. If he doesn't rap on the right type beats, and tries to go too pop I'll be pissed. He does best on gritty "southern" or New York influenced beats.

    Ferg's more unique. Rocky sounds like he belongs in Raider Klan.

    @Narsh

    Live.Love.A$AP or Long.Live.A$AP which do you think is the better project? I've never been able to decide, really depends on my mood. 1 Train is still so cool to me conceptually and how he was able to recruit everyone for it. No one really stood out or outshone anyone but they all killed it if that makes sense, just a great overall song.
    And I consider the bonus tracks on Long.Live.A$AP because they are all quality songs that could easily have been part of the album and I enjoy them all.
