    Admittedly, expectation was the incorrect word to use. Whether directly or indirectly, society presses these "standards" on to the black community that the lighter the tone of your skin the more "accessible" you become. We see it time after time.


    Ironically, most of the young, popular white people on TV these days are fake tanned up to appear darker :useyourhead:
