It just baffles me. There was a story here over the summer about a cop that had fent PARTICLES on his uniform after a bust and he died later from inhaling them. It's f---ing mental that people make and lace their drugs with this garbage. I seriously on any level can not understand the idea of that. it makes no sense from a money perspective. i don't understand its purpose when it's that f---ing dangerous. it's like manufacturing recreational atom bombs.
Yeah I've never heard of anyone taking fent recreationally, but from what I understand it's super easy to make with s--- from the drug store, so people can go out, make up a batch of fent, and sell people fake xanax or fake oxies or whatever else and not worry about it. The problem is it takes micrograms to k--- someone on that s---. I don't understand why they still do it, if they're just f---ing r-----ed or if they don't understand dosage or what, but that's why so many people are ODing on opiates these days. It's all fake s--- laced with fentanyl which can k--- you just by breathing it in. I struggle with the logic of the people that make it because they're just killing their user base. Makes 0 sense to me what so ever but it keeps f---ing happening. People chew a xan that they think is fine, but it turns out to be fent and they wind up ODing in a car ride and crashing their car, or they overdose and no one's around so they're found a day later dead on their couch. I really don't f---ing get it and it makes me mad just thinking about it.smitty, Guma, dkdnfbdjdkdddjdjfvcgfl and 3 others like this.Dec 18, 2025(This ad goes away when signing up) -

i'm not a lawyer but i would assume that if they investigate it and find evidence that she sold him the bad pill she'll be indicted for trafficking and maybe manslaughter or something, unless she gives up whoever she bought the pills from for a lighter sentence. i really don't have a solid answer but my assumption is that they'd want to go up the ladder to find who's making the bad fent pills in the first place.DKC, 83837477, Ordinary Joel and 3 others like this. -

Yeah thats a huge problem especially with younger audiences but on the other hand idk I can't really expect or ask them to hide that fact.
He was an addict and that was his life, so he wrote songs about his life, the good and the bad. I think a big part of the problem is that when they put that story out there kids see it and then they see that they're successful rappers getting paid and getting women while being on drugs and they dont understand the real focus of the story being told. instead of hearing "i'm f----- up on drugs to the point that i don't give a f--- about anything" they see it and hear "i do drugs and i don't give a f---" and connect that with being cool and successful.
its definitely a problem but i don't really see how the blame can fall on the artist for how their art is interpreted. all the artist can do is make their art and live their life. a lot of people probably saw peeps drug abuse and thought it was cool without listening to the songs he wrote about hating waking up in the morning.DKC, DetroitDGAF, dkdnfbdjdkdddjdjfvcgfl and 3 others like this.Dec 18, 2025(This ad goes away when signing up) -

And you're both right. I've never listened to him I just googled some of his lyrics so I guess I can't see his music in it's proper context. I guess I see lyrics like
"Yeah, I do them drugz, I don't give a f--- what you think" and immediately think of Future, somebody I'm a huge fan of and the whole "I'm an addict and I can't even hide it." I just know how popular these guys are and then think of my little brother who's about to turn 14 and he's asking me what Xannys are and rapping along to Percocet, Molly, Percocet.... and I don't just cringe I legit get scared as f---.DetroitDGAF, DKC, theg and 3 others like this. -

I have a great amount of respect for your thoughts and opinions but I've got to ask you a few things. First of all I think this article was incredibly irresponsible. I mean don't you think this type of rhetoric sounds awfully familiar
Now is not the time to have a conversation about Xanax. Now is not the time to harangue recreational drug users, or start any sort of “see, drugs are bad” dialogue. What we can do is admit why so many of us related to Lil Peep on such an emotional level, which is, to put it simply: we saw something of ourselves in him
Now I'd be lying if I said I knew anything about this kid before yesterday and while anybody dying so young is tragic and he very well could have been a good guy, but- can you really call his music and what he promoted good? I don't like that this kid had such a huge platform and used it to promote reckless drug abuse. And I'm not singling him out I'm talking about all of these addict rappers. In my industry I'm working with a lot of 17-22 year olds and not only do they look up to these guys they emulate them. This is the self-snitching generation so I see them posting about it on Snapchat, Twitter, IG... They really think it's cool to be a junkie now thanks to these addict rappers. I've glanced at some of his lyrics and this is what he was all about.
I'm just playing Devil's Advocate and maybe I'm just old and don't understand but while I'd never wish death on anybody I think now would be the perfect time to highlight the fact that being a junkie isn't cool. Overdosing isn't cool. I'd like to think that this death will wake up some of his fans. Unfortunately, I'd bet a lot of money that the exact opposite happened and there were a lot of "Xannys" and Percs and whatever else taken for this guy over the past few days.DetroitDGAF, an0nymous, DKC and 3 others like this. -

there's one from earlier in the day where one of the people that allegedly sold him the xanax is smoking something then flips the camera and shows peep in the exact same position he's in in the bus video later on. doesnt look like he moved at all from that daytime footage to the one later on.Guma, pluto✰, Lil Squeed and 3 others like this. -

But what you're failing to realize is I never shed light on or "made lame jokes" about Lil Peeps death, nor have I or would I do that to anyone. It's not the same.
I'm not trying to make the thread about someone else, I just wanted to vent in one post about disrespect people showed for an artist I enjoyed and the stark contrast to this one.
It's over now

if it's a joke then make it funny if it isn't then clearly don't f---ing say it... so little time since his death and people cracking jokes... this guy was good and never got into beefs/hated on people/was negative towards others. he had an awful depression, and the fact that he accidentally OD'd is s-----y as f---. he didn't want to go out this early, no matter what anyone says. 21 is so f---ing young, regardless of his celebrity status.Ordinary Joel, jmillithauglybasedgod, Guma and 3 others like this.Dec 18, 2025(This ad goes away when signing up) -

I don't get why they don't just sell it as fent. Then at least people would be able to dose properly. I guess it has such a dirty stigma to it (for good reason).Ordinary Joel, jmillithauglybasedgod, Guma and 3 others like this. -

I was going through my gf's iPod late last night and saw she had Lil Peep in it..so I listened to the song "Awful Things" I normally don't like music like that, or glorify what he sung/rapped about it.. but I kinda enjoyed that one song. He was crying for help & no one was listening. Dude didn't deserve to die..real shame. #RIPOrdinary Joel, jmillithauglybasedgod, Lil Squeed and 3 others like this. -
