I'm the one would of reached #1 without Wayne id also like to point out that song has tail spun to #35 while something like XTL released much earlier is still top 20

Ok. As i said before the media argument can be argued in too many ways. What i was trying to say is I see Wayne's name in a lot of different stories in the media whether its him having seizures, a development on C5 news, him doing some stupid s--- or anything else. Seeing a single article on DMX getting sent to jail just isnt the same thing even if it is seeing his name pop up.

Also, it is true that Wayne was the last listed feature on that song, but the fact that he was even included on a #1 song is more than enough to say that he's still at least somewhat relevant, and definitely infinitely more relevant than DMX is today.

Uzi doesnt have a #1 song, i'm not sure where XO tour life peaked but i'm pretty sure it wasn't #1, not sure what you meant by asking that though Uzi is obviously one of the most relevant rappers in the game right now

Nooooooooooooooooooooo that's not what you said you said s--- about seizures only and again I can mention dmx going to jail or bankruptcy or tax evasion etc he himself is also featured in multiple different stories whether you yourself see them or not.

Being featured on a song does little to prove relevancy when NONE of his own work charts AT ALL like I said the song would be #1 without Wayne he did nothing to contribute to that as shown by where his own songs end up.

All admit you answered it some what well I was hoping youd say Wayne had a #1 because of I'm The One which would lead me to ask does Uzi because of Bad & Boujee which I would of finished with the fact both songs would of still reached #1 without Wayne or Uzi

If you insist we can look through every song to reach #1 the last ten years (or all time) and argue on whether or not every featured artist was relevant at the time the answer will be no

I thought of this song off top and was curious so I googled it (we can scroll through every #1 if this doesn't mean anything to you)

YMCMB - Bedrock reached #2 in the entire nation barely missed #1 OK

Was Jae f---ing Millz relevant LOL

Obviously neither of us are going to change our opinions at this point and you have made valid points but I still feel like Wayne is still more relevant than alot of rappers that came up with him and alot of rappers today. Whether its because of media or charts or features i'm not sure but I still consider him decently big in the rap game. Lil Pump is more relevant than Wayne right now for sure as are a ton of new wave soundcloud rappers, and Wayne has without a doubt fallen off since his prime but in my opinion you cant call him irrelevant

You still FEEL he's relevant that is the problem.....relevancy isn't U or I I can say Keke The Adopted Tabby Cat is relevant for being on a Lil B mixtape it'll never make it true.. I've given actual stats you can look all the information and Numbers I've given up yourself this isn't just coming from my head like what you "feel" please tell me you get this LOL

In terms of stats, ok Wayne isn't as relevant anymore, agreed he'll never match his early career mixtape/album numbers, but if Wayne released the Carter 5 today the rap game would be flipped on its head for at least a week, that is what I am trying to say about Wayne's relevancy

Life doesn't work on IFs bud you almost admitted it but gave a half a--- "as relevant" oh well.

If Lil B dropped 15 #1 singles in a row he'd be very relevant keywords IF

People have been waiting on C5 for years now is literally a meme at this point, if it dropped you cant deny that it would be a big moment in rap. And agreed dropping #1 singles = direct relevancy

I'm not worried about if this or if that. I could of said "if lil pump debuted #81 on the chart" a year ago it still wouldn't of ment jack s--- until it actually came in fruition

Where we stand today in real time in real life Wayne is not relevant as Lil Pump wasn't a year ago

Until he drops another project/song that sells well, Wayne will stay irrelevant in terms of sales and charting. All I'm saying is that he has an album that almost every hip hop fan is waiting on the edge of their seat for, whether he drops it or not we'll never know, but that potential to drop it is keeping him at least a bit relevant for the time being (although his relevancy is decreasing the longer it doesn't release)

You're clearly a big fan of his and thats playing a part in your answers you're sooooooooooo close to just outright saying "yo you're right Wayne is not relevant right now" the problem is you keep giving BUTs oh well though I understand it. I think my work here is done.

I never said he wasn't a legend I never tried to down play his previous accomplishments all I said (and eventually had to try to get through to you guys since you insist on fighting me over it) was that he is not relevant right now

If Wayne do a concert tomorrow in NY fot example it would full a stadium of 50000 people, lil pump would have to beg for play in a redneck bar

Imagine thinking chart success has anything to do with relevancy. Young Thug did 37,000 first week but he's still one of the most talked about artists in rap right now. Wayne may not have charted in 3 years or whatever but he's still a huge name, let's not act like the Weezy/Cash Money beef isn't one of the biggest stories in hip hop in recent memory.

I saw a girl twerking on chaturbate to Lil Pump, I hear people blasting Lil Pump in traffic, I think he's relevant.
