    it's funny how most people consider a 6/10 as "not good" when most people would also consider a 3/5 "good" and mathematically they're the same rating. like a 6/10 just looks worse for whatever reason.

    but to me a 6/10 or 3/5 is just base level "solid." like nothing to write home about but something I enjoyed to some degree despite its flaws.

    but this s--- is terrible, you know its dire when Lin Manuel Miranda made one of the few beats that's memorable in any way. jelly roll and Big Sean on the same song with later career weezy made me want to k--- myself. 3/10 is being generous.

    C5 and funeral weren't amazing but they still have some great tracks and Wayne still coms thru when it comes to features usually but this s--- is so so so bad. really giving Kanye and Eminem's worst late-career moments a run for their money.

    After 2nd listen still 5/10. Wayne is one of the best in rap game but tha carter 6 is sucks. Idk what is going on YM team, some of beats are cringe as f---.

    Not surprised nor disappointed. Even at his peak he had some turds. I was expecting this to be the worse Carter album, and it is. But I’ll give him credit for experimenting.

    The closest he’s come to a true classic is Tha Carter 2 but I don't think it holds up against the magnum opuses of other great rappers.

    That said, his overall catalog is undeniable. Da Drought 3 is a certified classic in the mixtape world. No one can deny that.
