Feb 24, 2017 LP have been continuously humble about their position throughout their career and remained respectful about people who prefer their old sound even though they've tried to move farther and farther away from that. The fact that they know there is such a huge divide in their fan base and yet still do/say something like this is really disrespectful to the people and sound that made them famous. Really let down by that tbh. The fact that they know there is such a huge divide in their fan base (including a majority of people who do STILL want/love this sound and don't hate on their modern music) is disrespectful imo and very uncharacteristic of the band I mean its just a light hearted joke and all but still I believe u seem to really enjoy their modern sound like the past few albums, whereas with me I still can enjoy their music but it's not just the sound. I think they are becoming more and more one dimensional and radio friendly and see it as a decline in quality
Feb 24, 2017 @Changeling I mean, I liked meteora, hybrid theory, and living things and a couple songs off the two in between, but I didn't care for their last album at all, and while I like this song, I'm not crazy for it. And I don't disagree with that sentiment, I definitely think they were pandering hard on their last album and this one is going the opposite way of pandering... but at the end of the day I'm not Linkin Park so whatever they decide to do is what they decide to do. They're not obligated to make an album to cater to my tastes, so it's whatever. I also can relate even more cause the same thing is happening to Maroon 5 right now. I'm taking that a little more personally because they're one of my all time favs, but it is what it is.

Mar 18, 2017 Wow. Battle symphony is just horrible. No redeeming qualities in my opinion. Something about it feels like a demo.. 2 out of the only 10 song album i don't like. Might be the first linkin park album i hate.. Hopefully i'm wrong though..

Apr 18, 2017 Meteora was Hybrid Theory 2. Also, "What We Don't Know" from LPUX is one of my favorite LP songs of all time.
