Dec 17, 2016 So let me get this straight. Christina Aguilera said "Eminem is cute but isn't he married though?" on MTV and Eminem took that as being "put on blast"? What the h---? If he was married at the time, what's wrong with saying that? Was he trying to hide the fact that he's married to f--- other women? It's not like those women would say "oh no he's married I can't f--- an extremely popular rap star now" But in no way does this ever get close to being "put on blast". We can make a game out of it, say something trivial about Eminem that he'd consider being put on blast. For example, Eminem is left handed. BOOM, I just put him on blast. I've heard Eminem sleeps on his side BOOM just blasted him again. So, innocent little Christina Aguilera says she thinks Eminem is married, and he responds with an equal punch. What's equal to accusing someone of being married? Why, accusing them of blowing two guys of course. Maybe I'm missing something, and I think I might have asked this before, but my memory is really bad, I'm practically living in that movie Memento. Anywho, the point is, Eminem really can't take someone talking about him, and for someone who's whole career is based on making fun of others, he can't take a simple "he's married" comment without making a fuss about it. Can someone explain to me what exactly was so bad about Christina saying Eminem is married? If he was married but trying to keep it a secret, then he's an a------ and should just blame himself, not poor little Christina.
Dec 17, 2016 He wanted to b--- her. It was the equivalent of a kid kicking a girl he likes in the shin.
Dec 17, 2016 It wasn't because he was married. Christina picked the My Name Is video on a countdown of her favorite videos on MTV back in 1999. Someone she was with on the show made a comment that Em was married, and Christina replied that he was married to the person who he talked about killing in his songs and laughed about it. That's what Em took offense to. Here's the clip.
Dec 17, 2016 That gives it a bit more context, but still doesn't qualify for "put me on blast". If anything, the way she said it made it sound cool, like here's a fun fact.
Dec 17, 2016 he probably just didn't like something about his personal life being released without him saying it, probably based on a rumour doesn't really matter to me though lol
Dec 17, 2016 I think Em just wanted to go after easy targets like pop stars so he saw this as a chance at Christina, I doubt he was actually offended by anything she said.
Dec 17, 2016 Wasnt it something about Christina picked My Name Is on her show and after it was played she started to complain about Eminems lyrics about Kim and that girls shouldnt let a guy disrespect you. So Em was like, why did you pick my video if you dont like me? Could be wrong
Dec 17, 2016 Thread so random lol, but she subdissed Em, I see it as blast as well and I understand Em replying to her
Dec 18, 2016 Christina put Eminem on some countdown list, but then she started making it about domestic violence and that what he was rapping about (97 Bonnie and Clyde) wasn't cool, and that women shouldn't be involved in relationships like that. Eminem took it as an insult, and there you are. Edit: Just saw someone post the video
