Nov 14, 2015 Logic is about to sell +100k first week http://headlineplanet.com/home/2015...et-for-60-65k-chris-young-alessia-cara-debut/
Nov 14, 2015 meh the only song that I thought was even mildly entertaining on under pressure was niki but of course he had to ruin that by spelling it out for the listener at the end. honestly it's not that logic isn't talented (he is) it's just that he has the creativity of a middle schooler/seems to think he's more complex than he is. unfortunately this album did absolutely nothing to change that.
Nov 14, 2015 This album isn't particularly offensive other than the skits...which would be fine on occasion but there's been one after literally every song so far. Like, I know I've made fun of Logic a lot, but I get why this is appealing to some people...I just don't understand how some of you can ride this guy's d-ck THIS hard. @Pato called this album of the decade? LOL. This isn't even the best album that came out on Friday. It's not a bad album. The music itself isn't horrible (he's not that great of a rapper, but some of the production I actually really like), it's just not really anything beyond 'fine.' He's like J. Cole lite when J. Cole is already lite. He should stick to producing because I agree with @Ozy in that this concept sounds like something a middle schooler would write.
Nov 14, 2015 It's just my opinion man lol, understand that I'm a BIG Logic stan and that I'm not ranking this album objectively
Nov 15, 2015 I've barely posted on this forum recently because Satan decided to hit me with the worst flu I've had in my entire life. But I'm getting better so I can hop into the discussion late. @Jaba24 @Pato did you both really put the title track as your #1s? Imo that was the only lackluster track on the album, didn't hit as hard as I hoped it would
Nov 15, 2015 Gonna re-listen in half an hour or so. Hopefully then I'll change my mind. I'm more intrigued about the Dead Space-esque skit than the album itself.
Nov 15, 2015 So this is goign to sound dumb. But So on t-ts Logic didnt say the N word once (i dont think at least). and in City of Stars he says I didn't talk about my race on the whole first album But black vs white bs was the still the outcome How come these MFers can't seem to let it go Judging rap by race instead of the better flow
Nov 15, 2015 A friend convinced me to listen to this yesterday and I don't get it. I got about six tracks in and I feel like I heard the whole thing
Nov 15, 2015 It's certainly better on another listen. For me the second half of the album is better, but the first half is still good. I enjoyed the skits. But feel that on more listens they will get repetitive. The guy who does most of the voiceover, Steven Blum, I recognize from so many things.
Nov 15, 2015 I thought I accidentally added 808s to my playlist when this started. What a ripoff from Amazing.
Nov 15, 2015 thanks mate! and right now, I'd have to say Innermission City of Stars Stainless Never Been Run It
Nov 15, 2015 I agree with all of this. Second half is much more solid. I knew Steve Blum from Cowboy Bebop so I'm happy he's on here, his voice is sick
Nov 15, 2015 Cowboy Bebop, Dante's Inferno, Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, Ninja Gaiden and many more. So much stuff I've played/watched with him voicing it's unreal. Instantly recognized him.
Nov 15, 2015 why do you like future? i could never really like him his voice annoys me for some reason
