Jul 25, 2017 I know that but he wasn't getting his own shoe deals hosting awards and becoming more recognizable.
Jul 25, 2017 I never said they were scrubs and no names but to see them now and look at this video it's amazing how they've accompolished so much in their respective lane...
Jul 25, 2017 2 Chainz was on like every other hot song that came out that summer. He was more prominent then than he is now tbh. A$AP had already blown up on LIVE. LOVE. A$AP. and signed a multi-million dollar record deal and won BBC's "Sound of 2012" Poll. Kendrick had already been all over the radio with Swimming Pools and did 250k opening week with GKMC. Drake had already went platinum with Take Care and been on dozens of top 40 hits. I'd say the song had the most significance for Rocky as it pushed his debut album. Still not "most important in recent history" status. @Buu
Jul 25, 2017 Was def disappointed back when this was the only taste of the album we got (aside from Goldie which was fire but flopped as a single) but looking back at the tracklist it's one of the few songs still worth listening to from that album
Jul 25, 2017 Coolest thing about this song was that everyone who wasn't internet savvy finally discovered Rocky, this next to Mercy had brought 2 Chainz to household name status (despite a good 2011 I'd say 2012 solidified him in the game), KDot was bout to drop his album and was on the way to becoming a household name and it was cool to see someone as big as Drake alongside these guys
