When was the last time you heard Eminem or The Bass Brothers or Paul ever talk about songs that weren't finished or demos or anything unreleased. Never. They still don't do it. There could easily be many different versions of Lose Yourself out there and we wouldn't know. There is also a video about 7 minutes long of Jeff Bass playing the keyboard and what does the track sound like? It has the drums and bass for Lose Yourself, not the same sounds as the finished track but the same patterns. Now Jeff could have made that on the spot if he wanted OR.......he could very easily have pulled out an actual version of the track they had in 2001 and just played on top of it. You decide.

Mar 5, 2017 I actually believe this too. It was just very unconvincing "oh yeah there was a different Lose Yourself and I don't remember recording it" but we know he was writing lyrics for the regular version on the set of 8 Mile.
