Mar 22, 2016 After a few sessions of seeing the physio (probably around six or seven in as many weeks) it was completely fixed. I think I got to it early and wasn't in extreme pain at any time though. Healing times between individuals depends on too many factors to give an estimate tbh. I'm back to doing overhead presses now but I limit myself to 35kg dumbbells. It's enough for me.
Mar 22, 2016 Thanks! I actually never heard of 5x5's before but I just researched it a little and it seems worth a try
Mar 22, 2016 No problem, it should really help increases strength and also help you put on some muscle. I think that everyone should build a strength foundation when they first start lifting because if you are eating right and lifting heavy weight, you will grow. Then you can start soley worrying about size once you've built this base if you like.
Apr 8, 2016 @M Solo Not sure if this will help but worth a try if u haven't been doing them. I had some shoulder trouble & pretty much fixed it doing Shoulder dislocations. They are hard if your very tight in your shoulders but are great for loosening them up & it might relieve some pressure on your rotator cuff.
Apr 11, 2016 Love the changes I've noticed in just 2 months of constantly hitting the gym. I'll post some photos once I get a little more where I want to be
May 22, 2016 trying out some new products from "Quest Labs" (beta products they're testing out)... new chips are a lot better than previous recipe..don't stick in your mouth like the old ones keto cups and keto chocolate bars are solid... new oatmeal chocolate chip flavor quest bar is ridic.
May 22, 2016 basically, they give me a radio and i just do all the work nobody else wants to do when they call for me
Jan 26, 2017 Does anyone use testosterone boosters? What is the main purpose of them? Are there downsides to using it and Do you recommend using it?
May 31, 2017 Not sure if this is what this thread is for but Ive cut my 2 mile from 18 minutes to 12 minutes in one day before My shortest mile was 4 minutes and 53 seconds
May 31, 2017 I've been going to the park and shooting hoops for the past few weeks (pretty much started from being a total bum to eventually working my way to running down-and-backs just for something to do), but just started jogging a couple days ago. I was able to run like 3 miles averaging about 12 minutes a mile, which is terrible, but slow > nothing. Since I've made that "How to get over a girl" thread, I've lost 20 pounds and am maintaining/continue losing. Haven't been this low since like freshman year of college, tbh Kind of sucks now because that 20 pounds was in like 20 days, but now I'm starting to plateau so I'm hoping the motivation doesn't dwindle too much
May 31, 2017 It's not so much plateauing. When you start to get in shape that garbage excess weight is the quickest to come off. You're lifting now as well so you're adding muscle to your frame. Just because you don't see as much lbs come off doesn't mean you've plateaued. Try to check your body fat % as often as you weigh yourself, that'll start to become a better indicator of the shape you're getting in the further along you get.
May 31, 2017 Whats the best way to check body fat %? I'm new at actually caring about this stuff, lol.
