Sep 24, 2020 This new look is cringe. Also the new music... impressed a little with the fact it feels like he pulled it off, doesn't sound fraudulent for what it is, but it's dated as f---. It's like he's tryna get away with it but it's so derivative of Blink-182 etc. I'm so over that pop-punk s--- as well, because the sound is so played out. Feels cheese. Also cringe though how he just what - becomes an emo punk rocker guy over night? Like, it's fake. One thing to have a 'new look' as an artist, but to go from being hip-hop; dressing, walking, talking hip-hop and trying so hard to front his authenticity... now all of a sudden you're this pop-punk rock guy? It's a totally different person lol. It's like trying on / seeing what fits, like a young guy on a nervous first date. Also he's pretty naïve if he thinks Eminem is actually 'angry'. Like, C'mon bro, he's jabbing you in a few lyrics to have something to rap about - I seriously doubt Eminem is sat at home angry. He's happy and rich as f---. It's called performance.

Sep 24, 2020 I probably haven't given MGK a fair chance. He just gives me a bad feeling. The only reason that I feel like I should go back and give him a chance is Rap Devil. I can't overstate how I felt when that came out, when I was used to artists claiming that they were "just honored to be mentioned" or going on twitter or a podcast to say something but not putting it on wax. He really impressed me then. But otherwise, he seems corny. Idk, still mulling.

Sep 25, 2020 Writing wise, I feel like hes better at writing pop punk than he is rap. And I'm not an MGK hater, I love his second album, and liked everything on hotel diablo except for like 2 tracks, this will prolly be the most successful album hes had so far.

Sep 25, 2020 Em is not angry. The fact that a rapper cannot tell the difference between an alter ego and a real person is funny as f---. Do anybody actually thought Daniel Redcliff made magic and stuff as he did in Harry Potter ? It's just like a character in a movie when he raps as Eminem or Slim Shady etc. So first he needs to understand how the rapping and music works in order to relate to any successful artist.
