Dec 25, 2017 When did you first get into drugs? It didn't really start until my career took off. I was probably in my early 20s before I even kicked back my first beer. But the bigger the shows got, the bigger the after-parties; drugs were always around. In the beginning it was recreational. I could come off tour and be able to shut it off. I'd spend time with the kids, and I'd be OK. It probably started to become a problem around the 8 Mile movie. We were doing 16 hours on the set, and you had a certain window where you had to sleep. One day somebody gave me an Ambien, and it knocked me the f--- out. I was like, "I need this all the time." So I got a prescription. After four or five months, your tolerance starts building. You start breaking off another piece of the pill that's supposed to be for tomorrow. Then, when I got off probation for my felonies [in 2003], and I didn't have to drop urine anymore, the reins came off. On the Anger Management 3 tour [in 2005], I was f----- up every night.
Dec 25, 2017 op is factually false, it is well documented Em did many things the label told him to do
Dec 25, 2017 There is no new. There is no old. There is: Eminem. At his prime, at his best and just Eminem with new great music to listen, enjoying and to inspire.
Dec 25, 2017 The difference between old Em & new is that he had rage & passion in his music, he still has passion but the rage died as he got older.
Dec 25, 2017 Old - Has great production - Poetic as f---, smooth flow. - But lacks a lot on technicality that he gained later. - Music is timeless. New - Has potential to be the best rapper alive with all the skills he has, I'd actually say he's the best rn when it comes to overall skills. New Em would eat the older one alive as far as skills are concerned. Music is great but not what it used to be. Cons- - Too many yes men that doesn't help him in receiving the guidance, feedback he needs. - Too much influence of Paul after Relapse flopped and hence, Poppynem. - Production let's him down and ruins albums that have potential to be classics. - Rick Rubin - Alex Da Kid Just remove all the cons and Eminem would be one of the best living MCs again.
Dec 25, 2017 What the f--- are you talking about..? Eminem was, and still is, the best rapper alive. Technically, musically, whatever metric you want to consider. Man, you are a horrible poster though. Needless to say, I will never take another comment from you seriously. Zero credibility.
Dec 25, 2017 This. I really enjoy Revival but I can see why people don’t like it. He needs to get on straight Hip Hop beats again and away from this pop/rock rap thing he’s on. He plays it up that he’s a huge hip hop head he needs to deliver an album to that audience
Dec 26, 2017 He is the best rapper alive skill wise, but things aren't helping him musically. To be the best rapper alive you have to be amazing musically too. And Eminem definitely hasn't been that since Recovery. His production is hit or miss, raps over half assed rock samples n beats instead of proper Hip hop beats. Also he gets shat on by a very big chunk of Hip hop audience. You can't be the best rapper alive when you're lacking musically and half or maybe more than half of the rap audience agrees on the fact that your music is wack. (I like Em's new s--- tho) Kendrick is the best rapper alive right now. Pusha T is one of the best right now.
Dec 26, 2017 Depends on what drugs you're referring to. Late 90s-2002 : Marijuana and alcohol 2003-2008 : Pills
Dec 26, 2017 The difference between old and new Eminem is that the old Eminem died in 2007 and the new Eminem is a clone,
Dec 26, 2017 Something clearly went wrong when he was cloned cause this Eminem is nothing like the original
