Always appeared to be about Proof to me, from day one. Even when I check on genius it states that it is about Proof.

Thought this was about Proof

Because he had a falling out with Proof just before he blew up, plus the video at the start of the video clip is Proof introducing Em. During Em's verse in the video it constantly shows Proof,

But I don't think Em knew proof when Ronnie died so the timeline doesn't make sense.

This has been debated for over a decade, it's an ambiguous verse that can pertain to kim proof royce or no one in particular

Wtf it's obviously about proof. The video literally shows him reminiscing with proof during the verse and the lyrics clearly are about him. How is this even up for debate?
