Sep 10, 2024 To start off, here's the latest big news. ‘Spider-Man 4’: Destin Daniel Cretton in Talks to Direct (Exclusive) Tom Holland will be back under the mask for the Marvel-Sony collaboration. Destin Daniel Cretton is doing whatever a spider can. The filmmaker behind Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is in talks to sign on to direct Spider-Man 4. The move brings an end to speculation of who would spin the web for one of the biggest franchises in Hollywood. Cretton will bring fresh blood to this iteration of Spider-Man, which stars Tom Holland and is a co-production between two separate studios, Sony and Disney-owned Marvel Studios. And it will make him the fourth director to take on a Spidey solo feature. Jon Watts directed the previous three Holland-starring movies, while Marc Webb helmed the two Amazing Spider-Man movies that starred Andrew Garfield. Sam Raimi directed the trilogy that featured Tobey Maguire. Sep 10, 2024 The last MCU things I watched were She-Hulk when it came out as well as Werewolf By Night. I just kinda lost interest in the MCU after that time especially since it seemed like it was mostly going down in quality. I’ve been thinking about catching back up since it’s been a lot of time since then but I really don’t know if I wanna do that lol. I’m interested in Spider-Man 4 but I’m wary of it because I’m hearing rumors of it being another multiverse story. I was more looking to forward to it being a street-level movie.
Sep 10, 2024 Deadpool & Wolverine is worth your time. I haven't been that into a MCU movie since No Way Home. I saw it 4 times in theaters and loved it EVERY time
Sep 10, 2024 Fell asleep to that s---. I was happy they kicked Kang out he was boring on both, movies and TV.
Sep 14, 2024 The MCU's X-Men Script Is Completely Missing Wolverine (Report) A new report suggests that there will be no Wolverine in the MCU's X-Men movie. Industry insider Daniel Richtman posted a report on his Patreon, claiming that early treatments for the film "[do] not include Wolverine." "I hear the current treatment for the MCU X-Men reboot does not include Wolverine, at all." According to this rumor, the new X-Men film would omit the character of Wolverine altogether, rather than introduce a new actor in the part. The reason, Richtman said, is because original Fox X-Men actor (and recent Deadpool & Wolverine star) Hugh Jackman is "sticking around for now" and will seemingly play the character "post [Avengers] Secret Wars:" Read full article here: https://thedirect.com/article/mcu-x-men-movie-wolverine-recast thoughts?
Sep 15, 2024 they bad but enjoyable, this one I see cheap CGI, more than usual since I guess they had to use it more here and the story doesn’t seem too interesting. I’m kinda more interested in Kraven and it will most likely also be a mess.
Sep 15, 2024 A good comeback year for the MCU. Glad they stop dropping 1,000 things a year. Deadpool was a good pallet cleanser, and the news of RDJ coming back for Doom has given the fandom and General public peace. Can’t wait for next year, looks like they are about to really start cooking leading up to the Next Avengers movie with Fantastic Four and Spiderman 4
Sep 16, 2024 Random point to bring up so far out, but I hope secret wars is split into two parts. That story is so big and grand that I feel like it needs to be done that way. It's baffling to me they are taking 6 years to build up to secret wars when they took 11 to build up to endgame. I get they have D+ now and can speed things along, but there is so much involved with secret wars that I feel like it should've taken longer or just as long as the infinity saga. was really shocked they didn't push secret wars back to later in the decade. just feels weird that in 3 years time secret wars will already be out of theaters and about to be on D+. i think it could really benefit from a delay by about a year or so or if it's split into 2 parts
Sep 16, 2024 Yeah I have a feeling it’s gonna be delayed by a Year. As long as Avengers Doomsday drops on time in 2026. Cuz I’m ready for this multiverse stuff to wrap up
Sep 17, 2024 As much as I honestly see what they are trying to pull off here, it should have been fleshed out more. Pandemic + that one dude that was running Disney for a bit who had the mindset of s--- out as much content as possible really damaged what Marvel was trying to kick off the multiverse saga with. Hoping for a reboot of sorts post secret wars
Sep 17, 2024 There's still trash on the way like Captain Falcon or Thunderbolts. Doubt we will see another good era until those projects are out of the way.
