Nov 7, 2017 Just saw Thor: Ragnorak (in a filled theater)... When did the Marvel Cinematic Universe suddenly become one big comedy? Whatever happened to the sense of risk, danger and excitement that used to inhabit that universe. Nowadays these movies are jokefests with very few action scenes. GOTG Vol. 2 only good film of this phase for me. Of course people are going to love it but when your only options are MCU or X-Men Universe then you're really stuck in a pickle. It's a good movie but as a guy who watched every MCU film except Iron Man 2 I feel like I'm being slapped in the face.
Nov 7, 2017 Well... I just didn't notice until now. I enjoyed Iron Man too. Still going to watch the movies but with lesser expectations now.
Nov 8, 2017 I feel u man but lemme just point out some stuff here 1) Thor movies were known for being s--- so a different direction was inevitable otherwise we would’ve got something pretty s-----y 2) Spider-Man hard as f--- my man how do you not f--- with that movie? Amazing Spider-Man tried really hard to be awkward and goofy but sleek and badass at the same time, didn’t work. Once again a different direction was needed. 3) there was a lot of risk with this movie i feel. Even with its comedic tone it had major consequences on Thor I’ll admit myself before the trailers, when we were getting rumors/reports that it would take on a comedic tone I was already like LOL i aint f---in with that, but here we are. Loved it. I feel u though

Nov 18, 2017 I've only seen Daredevil but don't plan on watching Luke Cage or Iron fist tbh. Do want to watch Jessica Jones at some point but it's not a priority for me. Daredevil is f---ing great through, and I'm only 3 episodes into The Punisher and love it so far. Jon Bernthals habits with his hands and head when he acts are perfect for the psychological part of the punisher IMO.
