Tyler Wilde of PCG conducted a survey, of albeit, a little over a thousand people, men aged 18-34, about the ME games, and published an article about his findings.

56% voted Me2 to be the best game


And surprisingly, Me1 was voted the worst, by almost 50%.


And Liara was the most romanced character

i'm not surprised at all, she was always the most popular after liara - speaking of which, aside of lair of the shadow broker she didn't really have much of a supporting role in Me2.

fair point, ME2 was her slower game, but she has gotten good support in all installments

thats because miranda was introduced in that game as the major secondary character

is miranda really popular though? i thought she would be in the running after liara but frequently assume she has a slightly smaller following than OGs like Tali and Williams

but yea, this is pretty impressive tbh she has the least involvement in the trilogy as a whole by far than the three other major romances

EDIT: plus Miranda has basically little to no involvement in ME3 sadly

yeah, I think it's because she wasn't just voiced but had the likeness of
Yvonne Strahovski


Liara also had her look based on an actress but you couldn't really tell as much

which is gonna make it a lot better. I've seen a lotta leaked footage come out of fallout 4 and it didn't look good at all.

I don't think a later release date has anything to do with it. There are games that came out 6 years ago that I enjoyed more than the games I've played all throughout this year.
