Game has the potential to be legendary. The original trilogy was great. Had a s-----y ending but everything leading up to it was f---ing remarkable. Let's hope they stick the landing this time.

imo there were many things wrong with Me3 besides its ending but the ending just was the nail in the coffin. but i got high hopes for Me4. it might be the start of a new trilogy.

I absolutely hate the Journal system Mass Effect 3. Bioware (for some f---ing reason I'll never understand) got rid of the detailed quest Journal. Individual questlines no longer updated their description via bullet points as you progress through the quests, the entry remains the initial quest description. For a game that throws a stupid amount of side quests at you this was the W-decision-O-A-T. Literally no way to track them.

yeah, you're not alone in thinking that. for the game itself, that was a pretty widespread criticism/complaint. in fact, I think even friggin angry joe talked about it in his review.

I cant wait 1 more year for ME:A, i just cant man

btw just finished DA:I, and d--- Bioware did it again. I was addicted after 20min ingame time.
Awesome game, like almost everything Bioware released in the last 10years.

I wouldn't say there were MANY things wrong with it. It had its flaws here and there, but it doesn't really change how good the game was. Except for the ending.

DA:I was a good game, but I think it was overrated when it released.

Anyway, one of the biggest issues I have with Bioware is how underwhelming their DLC is. They build great games, but their DLC tends to not really live up to them. It's not like say, Borderlands. Those games have some of the greatest DLC ever made.

the graphics are supposed to look better, but I don't really like the slightly new art direction, makes the character models look faker to me, I liked it better in Me2.

I also, did not like a lot of the new animations, and new sound effects for the powers, aside from the cryo ammo. But it's not like everything was bad. It's great that you had unlimited sprint but it made the controls sorta wonky since you're stuck on the bottom left. Now before making this whole post into an essay, I'll just make a bullet list of all the other things I didn't like about it.

-the illusive man/cerberus was the main villain instead of harbinger and the reapers. very little interaction with the reapers in general which is disappointing considering all the the interaction/disposition you had with harbinger in Me2. I don't remember how much you had with sovereign in Me1.

-the entire plot was centered around building a super weapon; something conventional instead of something surprising or revolutionary which I was honestly expecting, given how great Me2 was, I expected them to raise the bar with Me3.

-most of the missions were just fetch quests. the reaper war was happening in the background as something to set up the event(s) of the game but it hardly felt like the main focus since all you're doing is favors to get people on your side.

-which I understand but to me all these stories they developed about the galactic community i.e. krogan genophage, rannoch lost homeworld, just made for this fictional universe to be believable; i didn't expect for all these issues to be resolved in Me3, DURING the g.d. reaper war. maybe as something after it all in DLC, but not part of the f---ing plot which should be EVERYONE putting EVERYTHING aside without question, to take out the reapers.

-I already mentioned this earlier, that i don't like a lot of the new animations/sound effects. aside from the cryo ammo effects where an enemy frozen smashes to pieces, I don't like the new mechanic for the sentinel shield, or how the shockwave works for the vanguard (doesn't look as cool and feels way less effective), and because shepard runs with unlimited stamina, he shouldn't be stuck to one side of the screen; you could be running for a long time and get stuck in a corner because of the camera placement.

-maybe this was just an issue with the Ds3 but yeah, I didn't like the gameplay that much.

-the leviathan dlc ruins what the lore had established about the reapers. not to mention, it was incredibly stupid how in the dlc, the reaper in the sky on the leviathan planet sent husks to attack you, when it could've just blasted the f--- outta you with its own laser.

-the shepard vs reaper battle on rannoch. why in the h--- would you ever take a reaper on by yourself..

--i could get into more of the nitty gritty of the campaign, but besides all this stuff and the ending which I shouldn't have to explain, I think I made my point(s).

This is personally why I went to Nexusmods.com and downloaded M.E.H.E.M. (Mass Effect Happy Ending Mod) and they did quite a d--- good job with it. I encourage you guys to try it. Regardless of this flaws here and there, that doesn't change how f---ing amazing the series was, the atmosphere, music and immersion. Totally blown away. Re-ignited my love for the cosmos, galaxies and systems irl. I am replaying ME2 anyways, female this time.

I miss my first guy Twatburger Shepard. Modeled him to perfection.
