Sep 11, 2017 If you want a certain sound, the beat is very important or trying to rap a certain way over it will give off an incompatible sound. Em's rapping wasn't bad on MMLP2. It's bad on some of recovery and most of relapse, but it's not bad on MMLP2. I think just dislike the aesthetic of the sound. It's not really a smooth flow. In alot of places it's more of a technical grind. It's kinda down to taste whether you think it's Okay or complete garbage.
