Aug 15, 2017 I don't wanna seem like a prick but I live in Melbourne and have my entire life... I just don't get it. Like it's a great city but surely there's more liveable cities in the world. s---'s d--- expensive here for one.
Aug 15, 2017 melbourne is the 1 and only city outside of the states that i would live in. s---'s real.
Aug 15, 2017 it's clean. it's beautiful. the city puts on events. shitload of sports. there's jobs. it's walkable. beaches nearby. weather is amazing. beautiful women. it's safe. ...i duno where to stop tbh
Aug 15, 2017 Agree. How can it be the most livable city, when there's homeless beggars every 2 steps???? beaches and weather in melbourne are considered fairly s---. Especially weather, it's always pissing down rain in melbourne. I'm not saying it's a f---ing shithole, but it's highly over rated imo and it seems like a lot of people have some kind of rose tinted glasses view of it. It's also like a popular thing to do, going to melbourne. I'd honestly only want to live there cause of family, everything else in QLD is nicer.
Aug 15, 2017 spent almost a month there...dont' recall being rained on a single time tbh. you guys have your rainy & dry seasons tho..
Aug 15, 2017 It is goat. The only reason I question the liveable bit is in regards to literally living like houses and s--- are f---in expensive rn. Other than that yeh i love my city. How long were you here again? I remember you sayin you saw the goat sport at etihad stadium. Pity it wasn't the mcg thats the best thing ever and one thing I'm so grateful to get to watch my team play at every week. Train in right to the station. Highlight of my week even tho we've s----d lately
Aug 15, 2017 was 3 1/2 years ago now, but i was melb for 3-4 weeks, jumped over to alice springs & uluru, then ran up the coast to sydney/bondi...fraser/airlie/whitsundays/surfers/brisbane
Aug 15, 2017 f--- yeh, just a holiday? I feel like i remember someone comin here for studying or research or somethin
Aug 15, 2017 well it's not s--- all the time, but it's well known for it's europe-like weather. I would say you are pretty lucky to go a month without rain lol. my dad who frequently goes has said once "weather's alright down here aye, it only rained 5 days this week" my mine gripe with melbourne is the beggars, we have homeless in QLD, but they don't beg for s---. you get all kinds of weird f---ers telling you all kind sof stories to get your 2 bucks, it's the most odd thing I find, when visiting Melbourne.
