    On a serious note, RIP. Never really got into his music but dying at 49 is f---ing tragic, man.

    Yea he did but it was a few years ago now. His son was only 14 when he passed :emoji_cry:

    I hope his wife is holding up ok and has people to lean on. Losing your child and husband in such a short span is brutal. I can’t even pretend to comprehend what she’s going through.

    Doom (understandably) hasn't sounded the same since his son died, like his heart wasn't in it as much. No cause of death been released but hope he went out peacefully and depression didn't get him.

    Only a true enigma like DOOM could keep his death a secret for two months. A part of me wants to believe he’s f---ing with us and still alive because he’s a villain. RIP to one of the greatest, who truly helped pave the way for weirdos in hip-hop.

    I’ve been listening to his music for about 20 years now. He was the epitome of Indie Hip Hop. Can’t believe he’s passed away and that it’s basically been a secret since the end of October. I’m still like halfway expecting this to be a Supervillain Prank, hoping that it’s that. But the news seems to be spreading like wildfire.
