Nov 27, 2015 I know back on SL we were all pretty excited and got very surprised that the album was that good after that god awful Michael album back in 2010. I just listened to it again and d---, this album has aged pretty good after 1+ year of its release. The production is on point, except for that horrible beat on DYKWYCA, lol f---ing gameboy beat. Still very enjoyable from start to finish and that The Way You Make Me Feel vibe on A Place With No Name beat d--- Thoughts? You guys still enjoy it as much as when it came out?
Nov 27, 2015 I thought it was pretty good, 7/10 imo, it was cool hearing unreleased MJ, especially remixed on Timbaland beats.
Nov 28, 2015 There was a 30 second snippet of Place w/ No Name over the original America music that leaked the week he died. I've been dying to get the full version since then, so I was v excited about this album and enjoyed it for the better part of 2014. Place With No Name, Loving You, Slave to the Rhythm, Chicago are all top-caliber MJ songs, IMO. I still listen to it sometimes. I wasn't a big fan of all the remakes. DYKWYCA should have either been left off or had different production. I like it in theory, but there's at least 3 different versions of that song and I like none of them. His voice on the original demo of Love Never Felt So Good
Nov 29, 2015 You should go listen to it bruh, and throw Behind The Mask from Michael album in there too, you wont be disappointed tbh. OG version of DYKWYCA is so d--- good tho and yeah Love Never Felt so Good is incredible.. I really like they kept the last part of that recording session in the song where Michael says ''Is that it?'' with that soft voice Some said back on SL that I was way too fast to count some of these songs on this album as some of his best work period, I still has the same opinion
