Oct 11, 2024 Nice. I recently saw that the first two are on Prime Video, I saved them to my watch list
Oct 11, 2024 I’m not kidding you when I say T3 is just outside of my top 10 slashers at 11. For context T2 is 19 and T1 is 42
Oct 12, 2024 Terrifier 3 (2024) Holy f---, I’ve been hyping this movie all year as my most anticipated horror movie of the year, and it paid off. Even better than I expected it to be, and my hopes were high. Terrifier 3 is quite literally everything great about the first 2 installments and mashing it all together into one vile, disgusting film. It genuinely had me considering knocking down my rankings of T1 and T2, that’s how good it was. Even though the movie is just over 2 hours, you don’t feel the runtime like you do with T2. The direction is much more professional due to Damien Leone being able to focus more on directing since he had the budget to hire a team for the sfx. Speaking of sfx, as usual, f---ing nuts. Like I said, vile and disgusting film. There were some moments when I had my jaw on the floor, like the shower scene. Art is hilarious in this one, and Sienna is the powerful final girl that she was in T2, but amplified and PTSD-stricken. Now for my final point (since I try to keep these reviews concise, but ask away if you want me to expand on anything), this is the Terrifier movie with the most consistently great acting. David Howard Thornton as Art and Lauren LaVera as Sienna of course were both amazing like they were in T2, Elliott Fullam brought the Jonathan character even more to life, even the child actor Antonella Rose was great as Sienna and Jonathan’s younger cousin! Supporting cast also was fantastically acted, especially that opening scene…SLASHER MASTERCLASS, RANKS JUST OUTSIDE OF MY TOP 10 SLASHERS EVER. P.S., they went there. You know what I mean if you’ve been following the controversy of this movie since November of last year 9/10 Oct 2024 Horror Binge Ranking: 1. A Nightmare On Elm Street (1984) - 10 2. Oct 12, 2024 Like I said in the review, if anyone wants me to expand on something I’d be glad to! Will add spoiler tags and the such if needed. I just know these movies aren’t for everyone and some may have some questions before seeing it, or they won’t see it at all but still want to know certain plot points and the such! I could’ve said a lot more about the movie but I like to keep the reviews as concise as possible
Oct 12, 2024 Can't wait to resume watching horrors starting monday but at the same time so sad to leave
Oct 13, 2024 @DiggleDogg69 happy you liked Terrifier 3 bro! Soo.. back! Stepped in a plane this morning with 25 degrees, 2 hours later f---ing 10...... already wanna go back lmao But I'm going right back to work with the next movie now
Oct 13, 2024 d---!! That temp sounds almost appealing to me because it feels like it won’t get colder in the south hahah Terrifier 3 was great! I really wish you enjoyed the movies man, I think I’m gonna see it again Thursday. Can’t wait to hear about your first movie back!
Oct 13, 2024 If I had to estimate, I’d say the musical sections only take up 10-20 minutes of the 2 hour runtime. I’m not particularly a fan of musicals either, but it somehow worked for me here, and I have no logical reason for it. I can see why some people think the musical sections disrupt the flow of the story though. Despite that, I really don’t think it’s as bad as a lot of people say online. I’m not even trying to be contrarian or anything, that’s just how I genuinely feel. After watching some videos I have a better understanding of why people dislike the movie though. If you’re going into this expecting it to be a movie where Joker and Harley Quinn go out into Gotham and cause chaos, you’re not going to get that.
Oct 13, 2024 Stranger Things 2 I liked this season almost as much as the first season, but it was slightly worse. This had almost everything I liked about the first season, but I had two issues: The mystique of the lab is now gone which detracts from the intrigue of the show El’s episode. It was cool to see more of her backstory but a whole episode about it was a bit much. The pacing of that episode felt really slow, and for the first time with this show I almost got bored. I assume this is the episode @Marsh thought felt out of place. Overall, it was still a good season though. 8/10
Oct 13, 2024 Exactly, that episode was a mess. You just watched the best seasons, even though I enjoyed season 3 and 4 though.
Oct 13, 2024 I honestly dread this season whenever I do rewatches, maybe I’ll enjoy it when I do my next rewatch before the release of ST5
Oct 13, 2024 What don’t you like about it? I did definitely feel there was some pacing issues in the season.
Oct 13, 2024 One of the best episodes in the season, I loved the Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees cameos. No Ghostface though unfortunately
Oct 13, 2024 I’m just bored everytime I watch that season tbh, it don’t interest me as much as Seasons 1, 3 and 4
