Dec 30, 2018 Negate the last post enjoy man it definitely helps to see it a bunch more imo Little s--- like how they recreated the libbey glass sign in the background from where loomis finds the gown in the og and snuck it in there, i sorta digger all the easter eggs but I just feel like its more of a greatest hits movie than it should be lmao. Dec 30, 2018 So yeah, the thing that annoyed me the most the first time, annoying side characters, they didn't bother me this much at all now! Its just that I 'cared' more for the babysitters and characters in H1, 2, 4, H20 than this one. There is no character development except the main ones. But d--- @DetroitSkills is right this is all the sequels into one movie. Let's see. - in the classroom, the talk about 'fate', Laurie standing outside watching Alison (H1) - Laurie dissappearing after falling from the balcony (H1) - Michael walking down the streets w trick r treat kids bumping into one (H2) - 'mr Elrod' (H2) - the bathroom scene where the girl journalist gets murdered (H20) - the gas station where that happened (H4) - opening theme (yellow, jack o lantern) (H1 & 2) - patients wandering down the street, same as they did in 1 @ Smiths grove - little kid was killed the same way as Annie (H1) - dead mechanic (H4) - Laurie is a drunk (H20) - SILVER SHAMROCK MASKS!! (H3) - dead babysitter dressed up as a ghost (H1) - the Laundry seen multiple times reminds me of both the OG and H6 - Alison holding the knife at the end, same way Jamie did in H4) also them being on that truck is the same as H4 So yeah this is a love letter to the franchise but what I like is that they didn't make this into a big Hollywood movie. It stays true to the original movies (also the music is AMAZING) and it really felt like a Halloween movie. More than H20 actually. I did prefer the 'I moved on' Laurie (Keri actually) over the psycho version we have here but she plays it convincingly. Also Alison and Karen were great here. Not a fan of the loser husband tho. The doctor s----d, Loomis >>>. Like I said before the twist of him becoming evil was fine if he wasn't killed minutes after... also curious if the sequel will involve Michael or someone taking his place. So yeah. I dunno. I liked it a lot the second time. The scenes in Haddonfield (halloween scenes) were beautiful and the theme / music overal was excellent. Dec 31, 2018 The kid in the bronco seemed like he was really green or some s---, something was off idk, didnt make me believe he liked dance class or whatever or that that was even his dad on any of the watches, just horrible. Favorite part of the movie aside from the mask is definitely the strode family dynamic. Jamie lee killed it especially. Totally felt that was laurie from 78 after going through h--- for years. d--- near shed tears for her in the theaters lmaoo
Jan 9, 2019 I wanna wait until I get my Blu-ray steelbook on the 15th to watch it again. I’ll definitely let you guys know what I think on my second viewing. I’ve been excited to watch it again. I can see myself liking it more on repeated viewings.

Jan 9, 2019 Tbh I thought all 3 women did an incredible job without making it a female power movie. Jude greer was amazing too. Husband was f---ing terrible tho lol. I really hope if they make a sequel that its not gonna be another H2 (Rob) because the 1st RZ movie was not bad -not even close to this one tho-
