    John didn't want to do a second film, he was pressured to do so and came up with the whole sister thing. The first Halloween was initially called The Babysitter Murders, and Laurie was chosen because she dropped the keys off at the Myers house. It was as simple as that. People like to talk up Halloween like it's some great story, but that movie is almost all form. If anything f----- up the franchise, it was going deeper down the rabbit hole of Michael's mythology that was never supposed to exist in the first place. He's not a person, he's "the shape".

    Speaking of, I re-watched The Fog last night. Carpenter is the greatest.

    I watched It Follows and Lights Out tonight. I really really liked It Follows. The way the entity moved so slowly and you’re sometimes not quite sure who it is was so simple and effective. Lights Out was good too but it relied on a few typical horror cliches. Not too much though. It was decent.

    I own both on bluray. Halloween II has to be one of my favorite horror sequels of all time. No it’s not the original. Not even close. But nothing is.

    the descent isreally good its liie claustrophobia not being able to see and vampires. fear isnt from the s--- in the cave but the cave itself. was so uneasy watching swim and squeeze thru weird small openings f--- that and f--- cave diving

    Not myers obviously but if you want something scary you should watch Alien, although its a good movie itself it's seriously scary af

    Saw mother! last night, d--- it's pretty crazy. You have to understand the allegory of it or you'll be confused as f--- throughout the movie..

    Wouldn't really call it a horror movie tbh. I liked it, pretty sad overall though.

    Btw talking about Halloween @Changeling @DetroitSkills @Bleed etc

    After H2, Halloween 3 happened. The idea was to make a new Halloween related story every year. But fans bitching about my absence made them go back to Halloween 4, Return.

    I honestly think they should have went with the original idea. Halloween 3 is underrated imo.

    Trick r Treat is a perfect example of a movie they could have made -or even make seperate stories of it- . Same goes for Tales of Halloween, both classics.
